Pokemon Card GB 2 Part 53: Spinning

Casino day! Yay?... As you know, I'm not one for luck-based things. But I at least tried to make it fun, lol! There is a duel this part though!

Stuff at the Game Center discussed are Bill's Computer, which you can get promos with... if I had Bill's Computer. :P My bad!

The Black Box is next and it's sort of like another trade thing. You put in a bunch of copies of a card, then you get a stronger evolution for it. You can also get Promos if you put in some specific cards. It's a lot to write out and I'm unsure of some details as of right now. But I'd like to cover at least "some" of it later for realsies.

Then I head over to the coin flip game and get a surprisingly high amount of good luck! Not enough to get the Mew lv8. But still... Essentially the more heads you get in a row, the more you win! But you only start winning after 3 in a row. At 12.5%, that may seem low, but since you win 20 from it, the probability of you winning more in the long run is high. Probably higher speed at getting coins here than the slots. Speaking of...

I head to the Slots. :P You have no input over the wheels like you do in the main series games. So you press down and hope! There's a Bonus game, which you have no control over. :P But if you get it, chances are you'll get coins out of it. Really you want coins because the boosters you get are only energy. Such a booby prize! Of the two versions of the slots, they both play the same, just you may different: 1 and 5 coins. I'd go with the 5-coiner as the payout ratios are higher. But early on if you don't go through the Chess Masters, you may want to just coin flip as the 1-cointer takes forever.

Then I start the quest for Ishihara's duel, which involves a few more trades. Unfortunately I didn't have one of the cards... again... But I got it and resumed the chain. Not' quitting this time!

So it led up to unlocking his duel and his deck is... not very good, lol! Well, I mean it's fun to face because you can see all sorts of rare cards. But as you know, rare doesn't necessarily mean powerful. :P It really shows here as there's not much synergy in his cards as he seemed to pick rare for the sake rare rather than because they fit with an idea to dominate. Heck, legendary Pokemon in general doesn't necessarily mean Powerful, lol! Even more heck, there's a bunch of Pokemon in the main-series games that are really powerful, but doesn't necessarily mean an all-powerful card in the TCG. So you must look at each card objectively for your intended strategy.

Note on the creation of this video: It was kind of a nightmare. A lot of crashes and glitches (likely because there was so much footage for it to keep track of), plus a lot of text to write out and sync to the video. Then a long rendering time, and... just... I'm glad it's done. XD
