Pokemon Card GB 2 Part 79: Low Cost

As I said before, I'm not one to impulsively spend. So let's use just 1 energy card per Pokemon most of the time, lol!

The idea behind this deck is the all-powerful-ish "one energy for 20 damage" then surprising with Pluspower at times. Also utilizing Defender to essentially increase your HP on otherwise low-HP basic Pokemon. Because there's so much deck space due to a low energy and Pokemon count, trainer cards will run rampant with stuff like Energy Removal, Gust Of Wind for another kind of surprise and of course large amounts of draw power. The Pokemon you can choose are pretty wide-reaching as there are a bunch of 1-4-20ers out there. But I chose these for this particular build to keep energy typing down to two and because they support each other pretty well.

Bonus thing I just thought of: If you wanted to make this deck in real life, it would be one of the most budget decks ever. XD The only rares are 4 copies of Super Energy Removal, which are ridiculously common in on themselves thanks to being printed in theme decks. Hitmonchan lv.23 is a rare in-game, but actually a uncommon IRL: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Hitmonchan_(Vending_S2)
Similar to Arcanine lv45. So once again it shows that rare doesn't necessarily mean powerful.
