Atlanta officers arrest two when they stole a Jeep Wrangler that was running outside a business

On 5/15/2023, officers responded to 41 Irby Ave NW in reference to a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, officers learned a male victim’s Jeep Wrangler was stolen while it was running and parked outside a business at the location. The victim saw his vehicle being driven away by a male suspect and two additional males walking away on foot. The victim’s dog was also in the vehicle. Officers located the abandoned vehicle and recovered the dog shortly after.
Two of the three suspects were located and detained nearby. One suspect was a juvenile male charged with Loitering, Prowling, and Auto Theft by Taking. Fabian Mullins (DOB 9/2001) was charged with contributing to a delinquent minor and auto theft by taking.
