Rom 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
Rom 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
Rom 4:18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
Rom 4:19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:
Rom 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
Rom 4:21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Rom 4:22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
Rom 4:23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
Rom 4:24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
Rom 4:25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
We must learn from the fathers of the faith
Those who actually live this message
Not those who just teach or preach it, but those whose lifestyle lives it through the bad and good
1Cor 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
Theory won’t save you
Doctrine won’t deliver you
There must be faith with corresponding actions practiced until perfected
All else is vain
Just as you will stand before Him and account for yourself on that day
Today you stand before the armies of the Living God and declare through your actions what you really believe
Only you can stand for yourself
Intercessors can intercede for YOU to do right but in the end only YOU stand or fall
It is the experienced persistent believer that prevails
Heb 5:11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
Heb 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
Heb 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Let’s talk about calling those things that be not as though they were
This is a form of prophesying
Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Calling those things that be not as though they were before I see them is prophetic in that it calls into the sprit realm into the natural
Jesus many times told the disciples what would happen before it actually happened
Luke 8:49 While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.
Luke 8:50 But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
Luke 8:51 And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.
Luke 8:52 And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.
Luke 8:53 And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.
Luke 8:54 And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.
Luke 8:55 And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat.
Luke 8:56 And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.
Jesus called her spirit back into her little body and it had to obey
Calling those things that be not as though they were is the basis of our faith commands
When we command someone to be healed are we not calling those things that be not as if they were?
Same with all faith commands
If you do not understand the workings of this spiritual principle you will not be able to effectively command
Words are the direct connection to the spirit realm
John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Think about this
Does our confessions always build up our spirits or does it do damage?
Prov 15:4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.
Breach:
The KJV translates Strong's H7667 in the following manner: destruction (21x), breach (7x), hurt (4x), breaking (3x), affliction (2x), bruise (2x), crashing (1x), interpretation (1x), vexation (1x), miscellaneous (2x).
Outline of Biblical Usage [?]
I.breaking, fracture, crushing, breach, crash, ruin, shattering
A. breaking, fracture, shattering, crushing
B. crashing
C. breaking (of a dream), interpretation
D. quarries
The problem is we tend to mix our seed
Instead of being fully persuaded we talk what we see and feel and then get spiritual and call those things that be not as though they were
Stop mixing your seed
Either believe or don’t
2Cor 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
Speak the Word only and you will get Word results
