Old Tractor Tow Start And Priming The Diesel Engine With Open Flame

Starting an old tractor by pulling it on a steel cable with another tractor. This is our potato plowing ritual. And this old junk still works after decades of hard work thrown at it. I presume it's made from old tank parts or from other really good steel since it's basically impossible to drill a hole into the seat pan.
