95 KGS X 12 BENCH PRESS. BIG REP PR!

WOW, I did not think I would do anywhere near this well, today. I seriously can not remember the last time I felt this tired and weak, for a benching session. I was literally struggling with my last warm up set of 85 kgs. Felt AWFUL. I was considering just doing a minimum of five reps, or maybe a bit more, to save energy. However, I just couldn't bare the thought of KNOWING I hit 10 reps with 97.5 Kgs not that long ago, so WHY COULDN'T I exceed that, with 2.5 kgs less weight? I REFUSE to allow myself to take steps backwards, when I can control it. So I just snapped in to the zone, got my head right, buckled down, and told myself "I'm getting 12," and SMASHED my previous record by 3 whole reps. I think I still may have had at least another rep in the tank, too; but my mind was set on 12 being my limit/goal, so I racked it, there. In hindsight, I kind of wish I went for it, lol. However, it is certainly not a bad idea to leave a bit in reserve, and not risk failing, especially after doing such high volume, already. Super stoked with this, all things considered. Depending on how I feel for the rest of the week, I may take my lower body training sessions a bit easier, and not completely blast myself, so I can focus on being energised and primed for the coming week, so I can have a better chance at SMASHING 100 KGS. I'm excited! LET'S GET IT!🤘🏻
