The Dot Product: Definition and Example

In this video I go over the Dot Product, its definition and an example illustrating how to calculate it. The dot product is defined such that two vectors have all their corresponding terms multiplied by each other and then added up; the result is a scalar. For this reason, the dot product is sometimes called the scalar product or inner product.

The timestamps of key parts of the video are listed below:

- The Dot Product: 0:00
- Definition 1: 0:45
- Example 1: 3:22
