IF I had space, and IF I had better conditions in which I can grow my #stanhopeaassidensis , I would have at least 4 Stanhopea orchids in total. Stanhopea orchids are relatively easy to care for, even under extreme conditions. The only thing that will suffer is the destruction of the beautiful leaves Stanhopeas grow. Give a stanhopea too much light, the leaves will burn, give a stanhopea too little humidity, the leaves will struggle to grow clean and their life span is shortened. Give a stanhopea enough water and the orchid will quickly grow into beast mode, so, one thing that is super important to take into consideration when looking to grow stanhopeas, is do you have enough space? Stanhopeas are relatively tolerant of extreme conditions beyond their preferred temperature and humidity range. There are tips and tricks in this video that will tell you how I get around growing my one and only stanhopea, but, the leaves suffer eventually.
