Media spin or propaganda given New Zealand’s membership of the Five Eyes Spy Network?

Hamilton West By-election Candidate Peter Wakeman from the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party made a personal submission as well as the Party making their own submission. His submission included questions of the Electoral review regarding New Zealand’s membership of the Five Eyes Spy Network questioning the effects all types of media has on democracy and media reporting within New Zealand.

Further concerns regarding the role of New Zealand and foreign bodies associated with the Intelligence Service that may affect searches online, removal of content, censorship and/or other matters that I think have been covered in this video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nA_ff...
This raises very serious questions about the Media and/or propaganda’s influence on electioneering and/or voting outcomes.

PM’s prevention of Ram Raids? Hamilton West by-election Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party Media Release 28 November 2022.

Jacinda Ardern, the Prime Minister is making an announcement at 3 pm today (28th November 2022) which appears to be too little too late says Peter Wakeman – Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party Candidate for the Hamilton West by-election.

It’s in the ballot held a candidates meeting on Thursday the 24th of November in Hamilton West for the by-election ending at 7 pm at the polling booths on the 10th December 2022. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_12i...

The hard questions included what to do about ram raids and Three Waters. The apology from the National Party Candidate for Hamilton West was accepted. The Labour Party Candidate appeared briefly remotely. The only Candidate to stay the course remotely was the Act Party Candidate while the others you will see in the video appeared in person.

The Candidate meeting being conducted by the Chamber of Commerce in Hamilton today did not allow Peter Wakeman from the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party to formally address the upcoming meeting. One can only ask the question: Why the only Hamilton West Candidates meeting was not attended in person by both the National and Labour Candidates. Why was their absence not mentioned in the media? Does this mean they believe they are taking the voters of Hamilton West for granted when they fail to show up in person?

Wakeman believes the Election Commission media release of yesterday on Scoop did not state whether the names of the Candidates were being passed on to the voters in Hamilton West which raises serious questions about the process.

Given the media blackout of the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party with respect to showing a photograph of the Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party candidate.
