In this video I talk about how Russia supplies the US with uranium and how Putin can potentially turn the lights out on Americans. Nearly all of the Uranium the US used is imported and 50% comes from Russia. The US has over 90 nuclear reactors which power 1/5 of American homes. This means that 10% of all US homes are powered by uranium coming from Russia. Uranium is the primary power source for nuclear reactors. I talk about how the US needs to be mining our own uranium so that we can be self reliant. We should not need to rely on other countries so heavily for uranium when we can mine our own here.
