This was my back down bench variation after my 5x4 Kgs Paused Bench sets. First time doing these in a pretty long time! I am doing these to focus on tightness and control during the lift, and also to add a little work on improving power through the mid mid range portion of the press. I also am using a bit narrower of a grip, and using a less pronounced arch, and leg drive. Felt pretty good! Again, doing very sub-maximal weight to directly focus on technique, and also start a bit more conservatively with the new program. I might bump up the weight for this next week to around 77.5-80 kgs, or just add an extra rep per set, depending on how I am feeling.
