I Made What?!

I am in the midst of making myself some vintage lingerie! 😍 Namely, two 1940's bras with a pattern from @mrsdepew (altered to be nursing bras since I am perpetually breastfeeding 😅) and later, a boned garter belt using a lovely free pattern from @sewhistorically_costumes (based on her Grandma's garter belt, how cool is that?!)

This bra you see here has a purely vintage finish (apart from the nursing clips): bias binding, ribbon straps. My next forties bra will have more of a modern finish, with elastic edging and adjustable modern straps. I am seriously loving being able to make my own custom fit bras! Leagues better than anything I could buy in terms of fit, support, and shape! 😍
