It’s so much fun to shop with friends and film our finds at the Fleur-de-Flea vintage market, held Labor Day weekend under Louisville’s Ohio River bridge! This very urban setting is hopping, and there’s vintage surprises plus a few good deals awaiting us.

Urban flea markets have been fixtures in densely populated cities for years, places where you might find antiques, vintage or even recent vintage ‘retro’ gear, along with some artisan displays and food. We’re winnowing out the truly vintage (and even a few true antiques), and there’s a lot to see!

Many of these dealers started selling here a decade ago, learned and thrived selling vintage and helped Fleur-de-Flea open a permanent marketplace in an old Louisville warehouse. This market brings them to life in a real-world show setting, where bargains are better and variety from 1980s lamps on 1970s bamboo blend with vivid signs, tulip based swivel chairs and boho accessories you will find in the urban “wild”.

1960s glamour camper, 1980s Anchor-Hocking floor vases, 1980s ceramic lamps, Victorian magazine wall holder, Staffordshire figural pieces, Franciscan Metropolitan, Treasure Craft floral line, Pottery Craft overlap vase, 1950s-70s bamboo and rattan furniture, Navajo type rug, Shoot the Moon game, 1890s parlor table, 1970s designer chairs, Whitehall glasses, Japanese decanters, Cragston Crapshooter, mahjong set, MAD magazines, vintage globes, fans, marbles, quilt tops, Austrian bisque bust, bottle cap figure, autopsy table, Halloween decor, Paul Sawyer prints, Coke signs, Coors tavern light, tobacco tins, books, records, boudoir lamps, Victorian hardware, John B. Taylor stoneware, shag rug, jadeite juicer, Baseball bat, church lamp, happy face bank, etc.
