Highway robbery! That's the legacy of Jesse James, whose namesake antique mall along today's Interstate 29 promises to lighten our wallet with a variety of vintage finds and a steal of a deal here and there!

We spend what time we can in this vintage lover's pit stop, with more antique goodies than we can see in our few stolen moments traveling cross country. We take time to look and learn, assessing a well priced period chair (is it really from 1780?), dating a delicate dress and practically stealing some fun and fanciful vintage items! (We also talk about why spring holders are very, very bad things.)

Surprises ambush us in this facility, from a handsome Mack Bulldog sculpture that heralds from their offices to a German wall clock priced well below current retail value. We talk prices and show a wonderful array of collectible wares, from 1930s California carafes to a vintage stage light we might use in our eBay photo studio! In the end, we find that time is the real enemy, so we plan our next visit on our way through to Western antique shows.
