Chiefs News: Lonnie Johnson & 3 Other Players CUT + Danny Shelton Officially Signs & Practices

The Kansas City Chiefs have started to make roster cuts as CB Lonnie Johnson was released this morning. Johnson was joined by WRs Gary Jennings and Omar Bayless and OT Evin Ksiezarczyk on the Chiefs cut list. Justin Watson and Isaih Pacheco continue to impress Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs coaching staff. Watson had 45 yards and a touchdown on 5 catches in the Chiefs preseason loss against the Bears. Pacheco looked good in his limited snaps and clearly will have a big role within the Chiefs offense. CB Rashad Fenton continues to work his way back as he almost picked off Mahomes at today’s practice.
