Cloud gaming has come a long way and in this video I want to show how close cloud gaming visuals are getting to the local PC experience. This is a split screen video showing the benchmark for The Division 2. On one side of the screen is the benchmark running on GeForce Now 3080 Tier and on the other side the benchmark is being run from my local PC using a 3080 Ti. I intentionally left both sides unlabeled to see if you can tell which side is which without me giving it away ahead of time. On both the GeForce Now side and my local PC I set all graphics settings to their maximum setting, (most settings maxed out at Ultra however some allow the setting to go one step higher, in all cases I set the settings to their highest possible value). Also on both GFN and my local PC the resolution is set to 2560x1440, (the highest resolution setting currently allowed from the GeForce Now side unless you are running through an Nvidia Shield), with V-Sync disabled.

In this video I show an example of the Nvidia GeForce Now streaming gaming service, specifically the 3080 tier subscription. The video shows the game Guardians of the Galaxy using the highest settings allowed in both the GeForce Now settings as well as the in game settings. The highest settings allowed for GeForce Now on PC is 2560x1440, (2K), for the resolution and 120 FPS. (On a side note if you subscribe to this same GFN 3080 Tier and use it on an Nvidia Shield TV you can play in up to 3840x2160, (4K), resolution and 60 FPS.

In this benchmark run I'll show you the difference in F and visual quality when using the different anti-aliasing methods. In all instances the graphics settings are the same, run at 3840x2160 on Ultra High, with the only thing changing between each benchmark being the anti-aliasing method used. You can use this video as a method for determining which version of anti-aliasing looks the best versus getting the highest framerate for your taste. This is a test recording of the new version of ShadowPlay released with GeForce Experience version 3.2.5.48. Of particular note, this is the first time ShadowPlay has been able to record videos in HDR, as well as it can now record gameplay in up to 8K resolution at 30 F. This video was recorded at 4K, 60 F, HDR, with the Bit rate set to 130.
