RVing Storytime - Drinking Whiskey and Hunting Cactus in the Las Vegas Desert! Part 1

We finally arrived in Las Vegas, NV for some desert dwelling adventures together!
Immediately upon arrival, we opened the door to our trailer and realized out pantry cupboard door had come open, dumping a few bottles of sauce on to the floor after hitting a massive bump in the road. We took so long to catch it, that the sticky sauce had literally been spread from end-to-end in our poor RV. :( This was all just part of our story time in the video; it was not actually captured on camera as we were too pissed off and tired to deal with the camera!

Katrina and I got some delicious honey whiskey from this guy we met at a resort previously as part of our travels, and today was the day to drink some as we both were not feeling the sobriety thing... "Drink some" is perhaps an understatement; we had a very good time.

We poured a jar of straight whiskey and grabbed a can of seltzer water as a chaser, and headed out the door, ready to go find as many hazards as we could manage to find while out goofing around on our desert hike. Katrina has a particular love of cactus, and wants to touch them, or at least be very very close to them, whenever she can; today was no different...

Katrina does a stellar job of telling a funny story of how she met our neighbors, and also the Fire Marshal who happened to be there when she went over to say "hello". Bonus points; she got us free access to drinking water that we could use to fill up our trailer holding tank. Good job, babe.

Bonus at the end with very cute Fire Station Alpacas while we were there. Gotta love the Alpacas!
