The first thing that is, by far, the most important is to give me a call and we can set up a time where we can either meet at a house, at a Starbucks or at my office. The second most important step is to basically get pre-approved. I have some top-notch lenders that I deal with that are here to serve you and get you the best rates and make your process a simple and smooth one. The third step is the fun step, that's where we start going out to look at all these houses and we find you exactly what you're looking for. My job is not to show you just a bunch of pretty houses, my job is to make sure that the house that you're buying, you're gonna be able to get it at the best price, at the least amount of money out of your pocket and make sure that it's in good quality condition.

The next step is basically to get a home inspection. What a home inspector's job is to basically find out what's wrong with a house. There's no such thing as a perfect house but what I am supposed to do and what the home inspector does is make sure that whatever needs to be addressed, we can get that taken care of before the closing.

The next step is to get an attorney. The attorney basically reviews the contract, which is a very standard contract that's used for every purchase in Northern Illinois pretty much, and they go through this and make sure that you're protected. That's what the attorney's job to do is. The next step is basically to bring your lender all the items that he's gonna need, he'll need your W-2s, pay stubs, bank statements, there are a few other things.

And finally, the seventh step is basically when we do a final walk-through. We want to make sure that this house is exactly what you purchased. So we make sure everything is perfect and I will be at your closing. I am there from the very beginning to the very end. And even after the closing, I'm here to help you.
