165 KGS X 5 SQUAT! NEW REP PR! PLATEAU BROKEN!

I managed to get a good quality night's sleep, so I was feeling pretty good. However, my last working set with 150 Kgs went TERRIBLY. I lost balance, and it felt way more difficult than it should have. Due to that, I was considering backing off. However, something inside me could not stomach taking a step backward. So I decided to go for the top set of 165Kgs which I have been stuck on four reps as my best, for a quite a while now. I figured I would at least try a single and see how it felt. If it felt good, I would try and push it, if not, I would perhaps try to go for something else. So I flicked on my favorite band, got in the zone, and got to work. Sure enough, the reps felt GREAT! Once I hit that third one, I felt pretty confident I could push to five. I could have maybe grinded another rep at the time as well, but I was not going to go any higher than five today, regardless. Overall, a great week, and an awesome end to this cycle! Now for a deload, and then FORWARD! 🤟🏻
