More Problems with Your Low C FluteTips 113

How is your low C when you have to play it short and fast? Not so good? You are not alone! This is a common problem for which there is an answer.

Composers have written staccato and double tongues on low notes and we often hang our heads because we know how difficult this really is. But there is hope! You can learn to have a quick responsive low C as well as any low note if you just take the time to work on it. It does take special care and attention to fix but it can be fixed. You will need to pay attention to your air supply and tongue placement but when you do these low notes will boom out exactly as you would wish.

Tonguing quick and fast on low notes is the bane of flutists but with special attention you can fix this problem area and have a better tone to boot!
