Jordan Schultz of ESPN reports that the Chiefs still plan on extending him before the July 15th deadline for franchise tagged players, but that Brown is currently reviewing agents. The 2 sides have roughly 6 weeks to come to terms on a long-term contract that is expected to reach over $20 million per year. Elsewhere in 2022 NFL Free Agency, Bleacher Report suggested that the Chiefs should sign DT Eddie Goldman. Goldman was released by the Chicago Bears for salary cap purposes and could serve as a rotational run stopper.
