NEW GROWTHS ON DENDROBIUMS AND I WANT TO GROW THEM CLEAN THIS YEAR! I have this moth larvae pest that takes down the tissue of my #Dendrobium leaves and some of my #Epicattleya leaves as well. I had to give up on growing #Dendrobiumphalaenopsis because of this specific pest, which I could not get under control no matter what I did! I have an insecticidal soap that has stopped the process for a while, but, my mistake was that I applied it during the daytime, while the #stomata are open. Not good! The time of year, is now conducive to the survival of the larvae and I cannot see them with the naked eye so as to intervene in a timely manner, only once I see the scar tissue on the underside of the leaves, do I know that something has to be done, but by that time it is too late! So, garlic it is!! I hope this works! Watch this space!
