Sweden has 4 Deadly Weapon Systems - NATO wants these against Russia

The Swedish government strengthens its weapons system and prepares its citizens for war in the 21st century. This anticipates an increase in Russian military power on the border.

Sweden, which has an adult population of about 4.7 million and a total population of 9.9 million, has reportedly decided to buy the US-made Patriot anti-missile system for $1.2 billion. “This decision is supported by the Riksdag and will take effect in 2018.

The Patriot missile system, which is a type of surface-to-air missile, is designed to shoot down enemy missiles that are larger in size, as well as enemy warplanes. The Swedish government was considering a rival anti-missile system, the SAMP/T, which was made by a French and Italian joint venture, Eurosam.

This system will replace the US-made Hawk air defense system. The Patriot missile system will begin installation in 2020 and enter service in 2025.

This Swedish fighter has a speed of 1,370 miles per hour or about 2,200 kilometers with a maximum cruising range of 1,988 miles or more.
about 3200 kilometers before the fuel tank runs out. It is designed as a multi-role combat fighter, which can be used for aerial combat or attacking targets on the ground. This aircraft belongs to the fourth generation although it is still behind the Eurofighter Typhoon or Dassault Rafale fighter jets which are included in the 4.5 generation category.
