55 Kgs x 7 STRICT PAUSED Overhead Press. Takin' it easy.

I was originally going to go for 60 Kgs for reps as my top set. However, I noted that my last warm-up set of 52.5 Kgs was feeling heavier than usual, and I was feeling significantly less energetic; most likely due to carryover fatigue from last weeks 1 Rep Maxing work. So I decided to dial the weights for my Training Max back (I will probably do it for everything else as well, to be safe), while focusing on working towards progressing still, mainly with strict paused reps. If I hadn't been already tired from the 52.5 Kg set, which was so close in eeight to this, and was feeling better overall today, I think I definitely could have hit a couple or so more reps. So, with all things considered, I am not disappointed with how this turned out. I could have even grinded out another one here, I think; but I decided to take it easy, and not risk going to failure/close to failure, as much as I can.
