Description
I had a very successful career as a business development specialist for over thirty (30) years; nearly twenty (20) of those years in the State of Virginia.
My niche expertise was not only business development but understanding the nuances of selling both services and products in complex strategic situations.
I was recruited away from a company that I loved (Bentley Mills) by Dal-tile/Mohawk Industries in 2021; they reached out to me in June 2021 and my official start date was Sept. 7, 2021.
To say this experience was a nightmare would be an oversimplification. By the time the VP, Commercial Sales (Whitney Welch) had fired me on February 16, 2022, I had witnessed more toxicity, subterfuge, deceit and intentional treachery for a lifetime! The hiring manager, Allison Birkmeyer, neglected to tell me that she was interviewing with another company while she was luring me into this den of wolves. She officially left Dal-tile a few weeks after my start date which is how Whitney Welch became involved.
Fortunately for me, the twisted and sinister behavior of my 'colleagues' and 'teammates' was so bizarre that it couldn't be ignored...or noted. A successful business specialist with a proven track record over decades has the intuitive skill set to recognize the signs and signals of every encounter and register them.
Unfortunately for them, not only did I make mental notes of their covert shenanigans but I also caught them in the act!
After two (2) years, prior to the statute of limitations of filing a lawsuit against an employer, I was ready for the ultimate showdown.
As you will discover, Mohawk Industries and Dal-tile (parent and subsidiary) share the same CEO, CFO, COO and so on as well as their shared legal counsel (internal and external). They have been involved in so many lawsuits that it will make your head spin! And, FWIW, even though they end up settling cases, the "Judges" NEVER adjudicate the case as Mohawk Industries having to take ownership of their wrongdoing. Every case ends with the "Judge" sweeping it under the carpet, legally not lawfully, and Mohawk will continue to "vehemently deny any wrongdoing and will defend their innocence".
This might be the first time ever that this company is going to be held accountable for destroying someone's life and career; mine.
Buckle up! You are in for some serious drama.
I have a lot of the Legal Court Filings that can be accessed on the GoFundMe page for more detailed information about the lawsuit:
