Arnold Schwarzenegger Said "Screw Your Freedom"
In a video widely available online, and recorded during the COVID era, Arnold Schwarzenegger spoke about trusting experts in their domain of expertise, and towards the end of the video, said:
"No, screw your freedom, because with freedom comes applications and responsibilities."
This video was also posted on Arnold’s official YouTube Channel. Other reporting suggested this was from a CNN panel regarding the topic, which seems likely given the panel members. The video follows shortly.
After the fact, years later, Arnold apologized for saying this.
"I want to thank you for your open-mindedness. I think we should be able to disagree without being enemies.
Here’s what else I’ll say: I’m sorry for saying those words. I try to be relentlessly positive, but sometimes my mouth gets ahead of me. I should have communicated better."
