BLACKHAT (2015) - Movie and Blu-ray Review!
Director Michael Mann released his cyber-warfare thriller, 'Blackhat,' in 2015 to very little fanfare but this underrated, ableit imperfect, gem is one of the director's finest. And Arrow Video's release on Blu-ray, featuring three different cuts of the film, is highly recommended for your home library.

CRITICAL ROT: Rotten Tomatoes and the failure of the aggregate review system.
Since the very first moment someone created art I’m sure there was someone standing nearby ready to give their critical assessment of it. Whether that be a particular facial expression, the amount of applause, a thumb up or down, a certain number of stars and, yes, consensus of the masses. But it's only fairly recently that a supposedly objective metric has been determined to be the final arbiter of what is good and what is bad.
I’ve never been a fan of the Rotten Tomatoes model of film criticism. The website’s assessment of art lacks nuance, understanding and, critically, emotion. How can a percentage convey any of that when it comes to art?
