Pope Francis has been in the news this week for some disturbing comments that he made during a recent press conference. When asked how Catholics should determine whom to vote for in the upcoming election, the Pope responded: "One must choose the lesser evil. Which is the lesser evil? That lady or that gentleman? I don't know; each person must think and decide according to their own conscience."
How is a Catholic to respond to such a statement when one candidate holds such extreme pro-abortion, pro-LGBTQ beliefs that directly contradict what we believe? The choice here seems like an obvious one...
