Description

Hi I’m Cameron, I’m a Baptist. I come preaching the gospel saying, repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. - (Lu:5:34,35)

I come to enquire who is worthy. It says in 1Jo 5:1-3 “Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments…” So when born of God that’s what will be expected of us. For you to be born of God say, “I believe that Jesus is the Christ.”

The bible says, if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins. To confess your sins, say… “God be merciful to me a sinner.”

Now with the laying on of hands the Comforter is given. (Lay hands on them, and say), receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. - (Lu:11:20; Lu:18:42)

Your faith has got the victory. More important than that though. If you were to die a month from now, are you a hundred percent sure you hath Eternal Life? "…" Can I just take a couple of minutes to show you, how you can know you have that, a hundred percent for sure? "…"

I’ll show the sword of the Spirit right here, it will only take a couple of minutes, the bible says right here in...

Ro:3:23: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

So we have all sinned, I’ve sinned you've sinned, and not only that the bible says that we come short. So do we measure up to what God expects? "No"

We come short, well there’s a punishment for our sin, the bible says right here in...

Ro:6:23: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

So what’s God’s punishment for our sin? “Death”

After we die though that’s not the end. After we die there’s what the bible talks about the second death. Let me show you that in the book of Rev chapter 20.

Re:20:14: And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

So after you die, there’s a second death of going to a place called hell, which is the lake of fire where your punished and touched for your sin, it’s where you pay for your sins you've done for your whole life.

Re:20:15: And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

And right over here in Rev 21:8 it tells us who is going to be there. Have you ever told a lie before? "..."

Re:21:8: But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

It says all liars shall have their part, it says in...

Re:21:8: “...all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

So according to this verse where are all liars going? "Lake of fire"

Ok but look, God loves us right? "Yes"

If God loves us does he want us to go to hell? "No"

Do you think he said that and he didn’t mean it, obviously if it’s in the bible, he meant that, that’s the punishment that we deserve for our sins, but because God loves us he does not want us to have to pay that punishment, so here’s what God did for us it says in…

Ro:5:8: But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

So what that is basically talking about, God himself became a human being Jesus Christ, and was born to a virgin, he lived a perfect life and never sinned, he lived the perfect life none of us could live, ok. And of course the story is widely known, they lied about him, they arrested him, they beat him, they spit on him, nailed him to the cross, ok. Well when he was nailed to the cross the bible says, he himself bare our sins in his own body on the tree. What it means, that he bare our sins in his own body, every sin you’ve done your whole life, everything I’ve ever done, when Jesus was on that cross it was as if he had done it. And so, he was being punished for murder, for stealing, for lying, all the sins that me and everyone else in the whole world committed, he'd never sinned but he bore our sins in his own body. When he died on the cross he was being punished for our sins, they took his body they buried it in a tomb, his soul went down to hell for three days and three nights to pay for sin, he was punished for our sins. What happened three days later? “He rose again from the dead.” Exactly!

Now look, do you believe that Jesus died for everybody? “Yes"

Your right cos the bible says, behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world.

Do you think everybody is going to heaven? "No"

I’m going to show you what the difference is, cos obviously everybody is not going to enter into the kingdom of heaven.

What is it that determines who goes and who doesn’t, it says right here in...

Ac:16:30: “..., sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

Pretty good question by the keeper of the prison, right?

Ac:16:31: And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Now what does that say in order to be saved? "It says believe"

Does that say that he has to go to church? “No”

Does it say that he has to be baptized? “No”

Does it say that he has to give up any of his sins? “No”

Or be willing to give up sin? “No”

To turn his life around or to give up sin? “No”

It doesn’t say anything like that!

What does it say that he has to do? "Believe"

Just believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved!

Now look, I’m going to show you the most famous verse in the whole bible! John 3:16, the bible says right here...

Joh:3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

And look at verse 18...

Joh:3:18: “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already,...” Why? “...because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

We can believe just from those three verses, I can show you many. But the point is the bible teaches that the person whom believe on Jesus Christ must be saved, it says right here, Joh 3:18 “He that believeth… …is not condemned:...”, Joh 3:36 “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life”, Ac 16:31 “...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved...”

Now does that say he that is good enough? "No"

He that lives a good life, joins a church? “No”

It says, Joh 3:36 “He that believeth on the Son…”, ok.

Let me show you one more verse, did you notice how it says, “He that believeth on him is not condemned…”, and it said in Acts 16:31 “...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ...” We would normally think of believe in; believe in would be like saying ‘Jesus’ is true and real, and ‘his cross’ is true ‘n’ real, and so forth. The word ‘on’ is different, its function isolates a fact, this means all other ‘language’ is not considered together with it. When you say that you believe ‘on’ him that means; you call ‘on’ the name of the Lord, and ‘off’ of everything else. You don’t think you’re entering into the kingdom of heaven by anything that you’re doing, you’re a sinner, you believe ‘on’ his name to save you. In John chapter 20, the Lord’s crucified body is a sign for you to believe. And the preaching of the cross is the power of God. It says in Joh 1:12 that “…as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”

So tell me, when with the heart, you believe ‘on’ the name of the Son. Can you add any ‘words’ to his name? “No” Or can you take anything from it? “No” Exactly! And that’s an example of how the word on functions. Now comes the number one rule about salvation. The bible is just teaching you that justification is by faith, and not by works! There are two points, justified and grace, and at either point, works of one kind or another are excluded… - (Ro:4:5)

Ok, incline the ear now, the name of the Son of God, is written for the believers to know, they have Eternal life. I’m going to show you a verse again that kind of ties the whole thing together, and this section will give you a more complete picture, and help the whole thing make sense. It says right here...

Ro:6:23: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Now is a gift something you have to earn or is it free? "It’s free"

Exactly, now who pays for a gift, the giver or the receiver? "The person giving the gift"

Who's giving us Eternal Life? "God is"

So who’s gotta pay for it? "God does"

He already paid for it, he shed his blood on the cross, Jesus Christ paid for our salvation, he paid for our Eternal Life.

Now look, if I were to give you a gift. What’s your name by the way? ________

________, if I were to give you this bible as a gift, and I need you to give me five dollars. Is that a gift? “No”

Ok what if I said, ok I’m going to give it to you for free but I need you to wash my car. It’s still not a gift? “No” If you have to do any servile work for it as payment it’s not a gift, ok. But what if I said I’m giving this to you for free, just take it. So who does that bible belong to now? "It’s mine"

It’s yours now, now can I come back any time I want and just take it away from you? “No” What if I come back in a few months from now and you've done something wrong to me, could I just come into your house and just take this? "No"

That would make me what? "A thief"

The bible says right here that God has given to us Eternal Life, it says in 1 John 5:11 that, “…God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.”

God gave it to us, it belongs to us, he’s not going to take it away from you, what I’m trying to say is, you can't lose your salvation. Once you’re saved it’s Eternal Life. Do you know what eternal means? "Forever"

Forever, so if you get it and it lasts forever, how many times do you think you have to get that? "One time"

Could you ever lose it? “No”

Think about it if I said to you ________, I’m giving you this bible forever, and then I took it back for any reason, was I telling the truth when I said I was giving it to you forever? "No"

So if I say I’m giving it to you forever it will last forever, so God has given unto us Eternal Life, that’s going to last forever, you can’t lose it, Jesus said it this way...

Heb:13:5: “...I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

So no matter if you've quit church, even if you did something awful like kill somebody, or even if you kill yourself, God will not take away your salvation, cos salvation is not given by works, it makes no sense for him to take it away cos of works in the future. We are not good enough to inherit Eternal Life any way, we have come short, we're sinners, the only way one can enter into the kingdom of heaven is by the blood of Jesus. You don’t have to be good in the soul to get saved; you don't have to be good in the flesh to stay saved either. The process by Grace through Faith. So once your saved, your always saved, it's Eternal Life, it’s a gift, Jesus will never leave thee or forsake thee, cos if God took it back he'd be a liar. He's the God that can't lie and he said...

Ti:1:2: In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

So you can’t lose it, so let me ask you this ________, do you believe you've sinned? "Yes"

Do you believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins? "Yes”

And you believe that he rose again from the dead? "Yes"

Now say, “I believe that Jesus is the Son of God…” (Retry Common Salvation?)… The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. - (Lu:7:50; Lu:10:5,9) - (M't:3:5,6)

Ok according to what I showed you in the bible, if you were to believe on his name right now would he save you? "Yes"

And how long would you be saved? "Forever"

What if you do something terrible? "It’s eternal"

It’s eternal you can't lose it. It’s a gift ok. So look, what I want to do ________. You agreed if you were to believe on his name, you would be saved for ever. I want to help you learn a prayer right now, I just want to help you learn a manner you can pray in secrete later on, so that God can help you work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, and just ask to be saved right now, let’s bow our heads right now and repeat this after me. And just repeat this after me...

Our Father, which art in heaven. Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done. As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.

Please help me see your Son; and believe on his name. To give unto me Eternal Life, that I be born again.

For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory forever.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Now ________, if I were to give you a bible as a gift, and I give it to you, so it is yours now, and I come back for any reason and take that book away from you, and I still call it a gift, that would make me what? "A liar" Now if I were to ask you to repent of your sins, would it any longer be a free gift? ”NO” Exactly! See here it says in Ro 11:29 “For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.” Salvation is a ‘one-time only gift,’ and with the mouth ‘confession has been made unto salvation’ since the time of the book of Genesis, and it’s not possible to repent from sin of your flesh. We come short of the Glory of God, and “…we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” - (1Th:5:20)…

THE CONTEXT OF REQUIEM IS: THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT: FOUND IN THE REVELATION CHAPTER 20:

THE RESURRECTION OF THE LIVING AND THE DEAD IS A BODILY RESURRECTION:

AND REQUIEM BEING INTERPRETED MEANS: ‘REST’ AND THIS IS THE ENGLISH TRANSLATION…

Grant them eternal rest, O Lord,

and may perpetual light shine on them.

Thou, O God, art praised in Sion,

and unto Thee shall the vow

be performed in Jerusalem.

Hear my prayer, unto Thee shall all flesh come.

Grant them eternal rest, O Lord,

and may perpetual light shine on them.

Kyrie

Lord have mercy upon us.

Christ have mercy upon us.

Lord have mercy upon us.

Dies Irae

Day of wrath, that day will

dissolve the earth in ashes

as David and the Sibyl bear witness.

How men will tremble and grow pale,

when Justice comes with sword and scale,

to weigh the faults and sort the fates of all!

The trumpet rings a wondrous sound,

ringing through earth's sepulchres,

bringing all before the throne.

Death is struck down,

nature quakes, and all creation awakes

to make an answer to its Judge.

In the book, exactly worded,

all has been recorded,

and thence shall judgement be awarded.

When the Judge has taken His seat,

and every hidden deed is revealed,

nothing will be left unpunished.

What shall I, weak man,

be pleading, who shall intercede for me

when the just themselves need mercy?

King of tremendous majesty,

Who sends us free salvation,

save, Fount of pity.

Recall, sweet Jesus,‘twas my salvation

brought about Thy Incarnation,

abandon me not to reprobation.

Faint and weary hast Thou sought me,

on Thy cross of pain hast brought me,

let Thy suffering be not in vain.

Final Judge of Justice,

Lord grant Thy absolution

before the day of retribution.

Guilty, now I pour my moaning,

all my shame an anguish owning spare,

O God, Thy suppliant groaning.

Thou the sinful woman savedst;

Thou the dying their forgavest;

and to me a hope vouch-safest.

Worthless are my prayers and sighing;

yet, good Lord, in grace complying,

rescue me from fires undying.

With Thy favoured sheep, O place me,

nor among the goats abase me,

but to Thy right hand upraise me.

While the wicked are confounded,

assigned to flames of woe unending,

Call me with Thy saints surrounded.

Low I kneel, with heart submission;

see, like ashes, my contrition;

help me in my last condition.

Oh, that day of tears and weeping,

when, from dust of earth returning,

man must prepare for judgement.

Spare, O God, in mercy spare him!

Lord all pitying, Jesu’ blest,

grant them Thine eternal rest. Amen.

Offetorium

Lord Jesus Christ, King of Glory,

deliver the souls of the faithful

dead from punishment of Hell and from the bottomless pit;

deliver them from the mouth of the lion;

nor suffer the fiery lake to swallow them up,

nor endless darkness to enshroud them.

But let Thy holy standard-bearer Michael lead them to the sacred light,

as once Thou promised to Abraham and his children.

We offer Thee, O Lord,

our prayers and sacrifices of praise:

accept them for those souls whom this day we commemorate:

let them pass, Lord, from death into life,

as once Thou promised to Abraham and his children.

Sanctus

Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of Hosts.

Heaven and earth are full of Thy glory.

Hosanna in the highest.

Benedictus

Blessed is He who cometh in the name of the Lord.

Hosanna in the highest!

Agnus Dei

Lamb of God, that taketh away the sins of the world,

grant them rest;

Lamb of God, that taketh away the sins of the world,

grant them rest everlasting.

Communio

May eternal light shine upon them, O Lord;

with thy Saints forever, for Thou art merciful.

Eternal rest grant unto them

O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them,

as with your saints in eternity,

because you are merciful.
