An Act of Kindness can make all the Difference.
"I hate being black!"
A desperate homeless woman in San Francisco walked into a restaurant looking for food. The staff knocked her to the ground. As this was happening, a patron stepped in to help her in a dignified way. A simple act of kindness helped to calm the homeless woman down and provided her happiness, even if it was only temporary. Her cries of, "I hate being black" was heartbreaking. The kind person that came to her rescue assured her that we are all the same and that no person is better than another. It was a spectacular moment witness.
It is my hope that this video will inspire you to have compassion for those that may be down on their luck and to take a few moments to pay it forward. The true reward is in helping and giving.

Abused, Tortured, starving and abandoned.
Twiggy, an Australian Shepherd, was pushed out of a car in the parking lot of Palm Beach Animal Control. She was discovered the next morning by a shelter worker who had just arrived for work. Twiggy was scared, alone and obviously neglected. Her coat was matted with feces. She had obviously been crated for a long period of time.
The staff immediately attended to her and as they shaved her coat, they discovered she was extremely under weight and in fact had been starved. Nothing but skin and bones, this tortured little dog still had a sweet and gentle manner.
Dezzys Second Chance Rescue partners with the shelter to help with extreme animal abuse cases. Sandra immediately responded and took Twiggy into the rescue's care. She is anemic and needs to get the proper nutrition before she can proceed with any medical procedures.
Former professional tennis star Kevin Anderson, once ranking 5th in the world, heard about Twiggy and reached out to the rescue to help. He was heart broken to see her story and wanted to meet her and help donate towards her care. He is featured in the video to talk about Twiggy and her struggles going forward. Kevin is an animal advocate and he and his wife have helped to raise thousands of dollars for animals in need.
You too can be a champion and donate towards the care of Twiggy and many other rescue dogs at Dezzys Second Chance Rescue.
Go to WWW.DezzysSecondChance.com to donate. EVERY DOLLAR HELPS!
If you can't donate, please share this video with your friends to help bring awareness of Twiggy and the work of this fabulous rescue.

Natalia's Journey...Dog with facial deformity gets medical help
Natalia is a happy French Bulldog with a rare deformity on her face which has perplexed veterinarians nationwide. Her story and journey is heart breaking.
It begins with a local TV news report of two French Bulldogs reported missing within a couple of days just miles apart. Both were reported as home break-ins and possible a possible dog theft ring of French Bulldogs. The dogs were eventually found, one reunited with his family. Natalia was found and brought to Animal Control. The facility veterinarian and staff were shocked to see Natalia's face. The people who reported her missing was notified but they would need to provide proof of ownership including medical records and vaccinations but the family did not have any proof. They had no medical history to prove she had ever been seen by a veterinarian to receive medical attention.
Animal Control contacted a local rescue, Dezzys Second Chance and asked if they could help Natalia.
Sandra immediately picked her up and took her into the rescue pledging to get the medical help Natalia needed.
Natalia was analyzed by many different doctors and they had no idea how to approach this. It was determined that first, they needed a biopsy to find out what is causing the growth to determine her treatment. The University of Wisconsin is on call to help with this complex surgery. Natalia will most likely have to have her face reconstructed on the right side. It appears the bone has degenerated.
We are following her journey and will keep you updated with future videos. She is a happy girl and the rescue is going to make sure she has the best quality life.
Please share this video with your friends and also donate if you can. Every dollar helps. She has a long journey ahead of her and the costs will be high even with discounts from hospitals trying to help her.

Relax....Sixty Seconds of Kitty Love!
This is what I wake up to most mornings. The sweet sound of purring. My two Maine Coons are in love. They were both feral cats born to stray mothers. Chucky was rescued with his sister from an office plaza in Naples, Florida. They were living in a drain pipe. I adopted them when they were about a year old.
Priscilla was born outside an apartment complex in Plantation Florida. I adopted her when she was about 4 months old.
All of my cats are a tightly bonded. I've never seen a group of cats get along so well. This pair appears to be "romantically" bonded. They are both fixed so I guess they will never consummate their relationship.

Defying All Odds, Kitten Slowly Recovers From Head Trauma
We adore cats! They are little fluff balls which bring us joy and happiness with their tempers, their playful character, and their loving hearts. They are, and we know that they make our lives better. We think cats make the perfect pet because they are self-sufficient, intelligent, and good companions.
We’ve heard it one too many times that cats are incredibly smart and that they can probably survive a zombie apocalypse if push comes to shove. However, there are cases when fate has been crueler to them, and life was not far towards them. But knowing their strong will to live and maybe having nine lives, they will beat all odds of losing their lives. Just like this little hero, when baby cat Gracie was eight weeks old, she showed the world that she is strong!
When Gracie was just eight weeks old, she was sleeping in a mail delivery truck and was startled by the driver. Gracie jumped out of the car and was immediately hit by another vehicle passing by. She suffered severe head trauma. Angelico Cat Rescue was called, and Tammy immediately came out to rescue Gracie. The doctors only gave her a 20% survival rate.
Head injury can happen when a feline supports damage to the head, for example, running into a divider, battling with another creature, or being hit with an unpolished or infiltrating object. The recognizable side effects of a head injury will change between felines. Now and again, you may notice your feline is starting to act unusual, while in different circumstances, your feline may entirely lose consciousness and begin to have seizures. But, luckily Tammy was not giving her life up!
Tammy and a volunteer Olga shared the responsibility of 24-hour care to keep her body temperature regulated and to feed her. This video documents her slow but fantastic recovery. As of 2/14/19, Gracie can only see shadows. She cannot eat on her own because she has not yet regained her sense of smell. The smell also affects a cats urge to the litter box. We wish Tammy great recovery, and we hope that she will cross every obstacle on her way and she will live a perfect life together with her family and will be a healthy cat!
Gracie's medical bills and continued expenses are mounting. Please consider donating to her care. You can go to Paypal@AngelicoCatRescue.com to donate.

Extreme animal rescue: Hoarder dies leaving 47 cats behind
Dozens of cats were rescued after a hoarder died and her body was discovered a week later. Living conditions were lethal and there was a gruesome discover in the freezer.

Incredible recovery for two dogs beaten down by abuse
These dogs lived a horrible life at the home of former Opa-laka Chief of Police, Ron Wilson. While he was on a 10 day cruise, Animal Control found them left to fend for themselves in his yard without shelter from the harsh South Florida conditions. These dogs were immediately taken into Dezzy's Second Chance Animal Rescue where they received the medical treatment they needed. Their ribs were showing, bodies covered in mange, almost completely blinded from eye issues. Further tests and x-rays revealed Mugsy had a broken leg in the past, two bullets still in his body and heart worm. The medial bills have been close to $20,000 and at the time of their rescue, Dezzy's Second Chance could not tell their story to raise donations because Ron Wilson was under investigation. Eventually the SWAT team came out and arrested him. He was charged with animal abuse. Wilson opted for a deal to keep him out of jail and has agreed to pay a non disclosed amount of money to reimburse Dezzy's Second Chance for the dogs medical care. He has FIVE years to pay.

Hopeless dog found abandoned in Florida Everglades
Powder was found abandoned in the middle of the Florida Everglades. Dogs can not survive very long in these harsh conditions. One afternoon a couple was out at the boat ramps at mile marker 39 off of US Hwy 27 and they saw Powder barely able to move trying to find a comfortable place to rest. The couple tried for hours to get help and Broward Sheriff's Office responded. The deputies on scene were determined to help this poor dog and bring him to safety. Within an hour, Dezzy's Second Chance Animal Rescue responded and agreed to take Powder into their care. He has a long road to recovery including surgery on both his eyes. His skin is still infected so his eye sugary has been postponed until mid April. Powder is happy and playing with other dogs.

Abandoned Dog Celebrates Three Years Since His Adoption Day
A lot of dogs get abandoned by their owners every single day. They end up alone in dumpsters or wandering the streets. If they are lucky enough, they get to survive out there and maybe someday find a family that’s going to take care of them.
Oliver and his mother Karma were dumped at an automobile auction lot at the edge of the Florida Everglades. Because of the high traffic that frequents this road, these dogs’ lives were in great danger. Running around for almost two months on a busy road meant that they could get injured at any time.
Luckily, Oliver was saved and after a while he got himself new home. One lovely lady adopted him on April 16 in 2014.
"Oliver is going home. We have a foster "failure"!" Only that this foster "failure" turned to be a loving and caring foster family that took great care of him. He grew up into a happy and cheerful dog, enjoying every day of his doggy life. He plays with squirrels and he hangs with the geese and ducks. Oliver adores the water park where he can play and hang around with other dogs all day long. He and his cat sister, Priscilla, who was also abandoned, love to cuddle and make troubles at home.
This dog has a sophisticated taste of food. His favorite meal are chicken livers. That’s where he takes his girlfriend Diva out on a date.
This cute video and the inspirational story behind it end with Oliver’s message to his viewers: "Thank you all for following my adventures. Love you all!!! I get pizza and cake for my birthday. I can't wait."

Former Police Chief charged with Abusing his two dogs. State V. Ronald Wilson.
Former Police Chief Ronald Wilson Charged with TWO accounts of Animal Cruelty. Mugsy and Lady, his PETS, suffered a horrible existance. They are currenlty recovering and receiving the care so desperately needed. While they continue to endure painful surgeries, their abuser is still FREE pending a trial or plea arrangement.
Wilson was the former Police Chief in Opa-Locka, Florida.
A concerned citizen had seen the dogs living in his yard and contacted Miami-Dade Animal Services. When they arrived, Wilson was away on a 10 day cruise, leaving his dogs outside to fend for themselves. Dezzys Second Chance Rescue was contacted and immediately took both dogs into their care for immediate medical care.
As you can see in the video, these dogs had suffered long term neglect, at the least, enduring multiple medial issues. The rescue is fully responsible for 100% of their medical care and rely completely on donations. Due to the legal issues of this case, Dezzys Second Chance could not discuss these dogs and their condition due to the pending arrest. The medical costs to this date are over $14,000. Mugsy's condition is so severe that he is not adoptable and will remain a permanent resident of the 5 acre rescue. Dezzys Second Chance does not want to separate Lady from Mugsy so she will remain with him.
Please consider donating to help these special dogs who are finally getting the love and care they deserve. You can find the donation link at WWW.Dezzyssecondchance.com.
We will follow up with an updated video once this case has closed.

The Voice of Freedom...Silence is Constent
Peaceful Trump Protest March in Palm Beach Florida to Mar-a-Logo, where Donald Trump was attending a fundraiser for the Red Cross that day. Thousands of people gathered for their voices and their concerns to be heard. Palm Beach Police and Sheriff Dept tried to intimidate Peaceful Marchers from crossing the bridge to Donald Trumps Estate. Law Enforcement did allow for Trump Supporters to demonstrate on the bridge. No explaination was given as to why these 30 or more supporters were allowed preferential treatment. Advised by attorneys in the crowd, they were told that Marchers had legal right to public property. Marchers held their heads high and crossed the bridge while Trump Supporters baited them with insults and Police intimidated them. Marchers finally reached their destination to chant and let their voices be heard by Donald Trump.

Rescued Dog Found with Two Bullets Inside Him. Former Miami Area Police Chief Charged in Crimes.
To what extent will a police department go to protect their own?
John and Jane are two dogs that were seized from their owners home. Many people had observed the deplorable condition of these dogs and reported them to Miami Dade Animal Services.
A rescue person who visits the shelter regularly posted on Facebook a video of these dogs. Dezzys Second Chance Rescue was the only local rescue to take these dogs into their ranch and help nurse them back to health. X-rays showed that John had two bullets still in his body. Both dogs still face more surgeries in the future.
The police department for the city in which the dogs lived refused to grant an arrest warrant on the owner. Why did they refuse? Are they trying to protect someone? Maybe one of their own?
The State Attorney overrode this decision and granted a warrant. Many details of these dogs and their previous owner remain confidential due to a pending criminal trial. These dogs need justice. This dangerous person needs to be held up to the law and punished.
Dezzys Second Chance Rescue is responsible for the care and the total cost of medical bills for these dogs. Please consider donating by going to their website. WWW.DezzysSecondChance.com.
Make sure to share this video with everyone so we can let law enforcement know that they can not cover up and protect the person who abused these loving dogs.

Ripped away from his family, Billy's journey from death row to freedom
Animal Control showed up one day at the Lowe property and violently seized 5 pet dogs. Darted and dragged into the truck, these dogs suffered for over 90 days in isolation waiting to be euthanized.
Billy is one of the "Tampa 5" dogs and member of the Lowe family who was forced (against local law) to surrender their dogs to animal control. The dogs were accused of biting a person who trespassed onto the private, properly gated and posted property. Billy and the other 4 dogs endured 3 months of isolation at the local shelter while their family fought for their rights. In August of 2015, the dogs were legally declared safe to be released from the shelter.
Months before, Mr. Lowe suffered a severe stroke and was hospitalized, never to return home. His family made the decision to find loving homes for all of Mr. Lowe's dogs. Six of the family dogs (4 of the Tampa 5) are with a South Florida rescue who is medically caring for them and dedicated to finding them homes.
Billy was fortunate enough to quickly find his forever home and will be a companion dog for a retired Vietnam veteran.

Davie Police Rescue an Abused Dog that was Dumped and left to Die.
Crystal was found roaming on the side of the road on Orange Drive in Davie, Fl next to the canal. She had a blue substance on her rear end and open sores in the same area. One side of her muzzle was missing flesh and her ribs were poking through her coat. Nearby was a white tarp that also had blue residue that came from her coat. Davie Police were on the scene immediately to rescue her. Her condition was so bad that they called the department detective to further investigate her case. She obviously had physical signs of abuse and neglect and the white tarp left indications that she was wrapped in the plastic and possibly dumped next to the canal. It took about 10 minutes before the officers were able to get her safely into the police car. Broward County law requires that stray animals be taken to Broward County Animal control to allow 3 days for an owner to come forward. The detective opened an investigation for Crystal. Heidi's Legacy Rescue sent a commitment to rescue Heidi from the shelter. Crystal was welcomed into their rescue and rushed to the animal hospital for immediate medical care. It took about two weeks before she was finally healthy enough to be transported to foster care in Lakeland, Florida.
Crystal is one of many dogs Heidi's Legacy Dog Rescue helps on a daily basis. Please consider donating to continue to help Crystal and other dogs in their care. You can contact them or send donations to their pay pal account... PayPal: heidislegacydogrescue@aol.com
