9p saves cancer and diabetes
Eating 9p food for breakfast can prevent drowsiness, diabetes and 12 types of cancer
Adding this common kitchen cupboard item to your breakfast routine could not only help you stay more awake but reduce your risk of chronic illnesses.
Research has shown that eating one particular type of food for breakfast can benefit you greatly. Adding porridge oats to your morning meal could stop daytime drowsiness and potentially reduce your risk of diabetes and bowel cancer.
Aldi is selling a 1kg bag of porridge oats for 90p, equating to just 9p per 100g serving. You could mix oats into yoghurt with some berries and nuts, or just heat it up with milk for a traditional breakfast dish - avoid adding sugar.
Oats are a great energy source because they contain complex carbohydrates. A bowl of whole grains, like cooked oatmeal, breaks down to become energy that’s slowly absorbed by your body during the day.
This can help tackle daytime drowsiness and make you feel fuller for longer. Besides lasting energy, oats are also a good source of thiamine, phosphorus, magnesium and B vitamins like niacin and folate, which work together to help your body metabolize energy.
Oats have also been proven to help support blood sugar management, a major factor in diabetes. As your body digests less processed oats slower than refined grains, this means you can avoid increasing blood sugar levels too much after eating.
Losing weight and maintaining a health weight can help prevent or reverse diabetes too. The American Diabetes Association recommends losing up to 15% of your body weight at diagnosis.

In 2018, a research review found oats could lower cholesterol levels. This is important as being diabetic can raise your heart disease risk. Oats are classed as a low-GI food with a GI rating of below 55.
Further research shows oats can reduce your risk of bowel cancer. This is most likely down to the fibre they contain, according to Cancer Research UK.
Fibre increases the size of your feaces, dilutes it, and helps it move through your system quicker. This reduces the amount of time harmful chemicals stay in contact with the bowel, potentially reducing the damage caused to cells.

How Products Reduced
I've been a retail manager for almost 3 decades and today I let you fellow viewers a secret which is when to spot reduce items especially the non food items.Every retailer no matter what area the products are for instance from tea to tea lights from coffee to coffee table from breakfast cereal. bar to bedding all got shelf life.
Its true folks every product on shelf doesn't stay full price all of them get reduce to pennies
In this video I let you in secret which is how long the shelf life is of particular section of nonfood section of the shop.
In today's video I'll tell you a section called home furnishings or home decoration. Now for use retailer this includes bedding ,duvet covers candles and home decorations. You'll notice from beginning of year January there are so many new winter products being reduce which is basically coming at full price during Xmas.yes all retailer puts out very expensive home decor at October which last till Xmas full price hence its especially made for Xmas and on label its say new on shelf and its made for Xmas parties. When 1 January comes you notice it gets remove from shelf and moves to special shelf called reduction.
That's is right folks you guess it the shelf life of any product in retailer is between 3 to 4 months in other words by end of January the retailer be selling the product in pennies meaning to get rid from the shelf
Why do they do that you ask.Reason behind this is cause company sells this product to retailer that it guarantees that product will be sold to customers within 3 months otherwise it will give the retailer money back. And if that product is displayed full price after company gives them credit then retailer gets penalized by internal audit
How that happens that's another video.
Buy today the main purpose of the video was when and how product gets reduce and today section was home decor. So when you see another reduction you ask.Well you guess it After January reduction the new reduction is in April right after easter hence whatever new item was introduce in January in beginning or after easter celebration the product get reduce to few pounds then after 4 weeks it reduces to pennies.
I've seen in newspaper someone brought bedding and duvet cover in tesco from £8 reduce to just 65p only that's right folks you heard me 90 percent reduction.
So in summary I told you the time period of when new product goes on the shelf but also the product range which this time was home decor in other words like the season summer autumn winter spring same goes to the product range where retailer put seasonal design on the product keeping the customer entice on their stores and their supermarkets.

How men's menopause
Male menopause: Myth or reality?
Aging-related hormone changes in men are different from those in women. Understand the signs, symptoms and treatment options.
Hormone changes are a natural part of aging. Unlike the more dramatic reproductive hormone plunge that occurs in women during menopause, however, sex hormone changes in men occur gradually. Here's what you need to know.
Debunking the male menopause myth
The term "male menopause" has been used to describe decreasing testosterone levels related to aging. But aging-related hormone changes in women and men are different.
In women, ovulation ends and hormone production plummets during a relatively short period of time. This is known as menopause. In men, production of testosterone and other hormones declines over a period of many years and the consequences aren't necessarily clear. This gradual decline of testosterone levels is called late-onset hypogonadism or age-related low testosterone
testosterone vary. In 2020, the American College of Physicians recommended that doctors consider starting testosterone treatment in men with sexual dysfunction who want to improve their sexual function, after explaining the risks and benefits. In 2018, the Endocrine Society recommended testosterone therapy for men with age-related low testosterone who have signs and symptoms associated with low testosterone.
Some experts also recommend offering testosterone treatment to men with age-related low testosterone without the presence of signs or symptoms.
If you choose to start testosterone therapy, your doctor will explain the different ways testosterone can be administered, target levels and follow-up testing.
For some men, testosterone therapy relieves bothersome signs and symptoms of testosterone deficiency. For others, the benefits aren't clear and there are possible risks.
Though further research is needed, testosterone therapy might stimulate growth of metastatic prostate and breast cancer. Testosterone therapy may also increase the risk of heart attack and stroke and contribute to the formation of blood clots in the veins.
Your doctor will likely recommend against starting testosterone therapy if your fertility is important in the near future or if you have conditions such as breast or prostate cancer, untreated severe obstructive sleep apnea, uncontrolled heart failure or thrombophilia, or if you've recently had a heart attack or stroke.
If you think you might have low testosterone, talk to your doctor about your signs and symptoms, testing, and possible treatment options. Your doctor can help you weigh the pros and cons of treatment.

How solar eclipse on 8 April 2024
A total solar eclipse will take place on Monday, April 8, 2024, visible across North America and dubbed the Great North American Eclipse by some media.[1][2][3] A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun, thereby obscuring the image of the Sun for a viewer on Earth. A total solar eclipse occurs when the Moon's apparent diameter is larger than the Sun's, blocking all direct sunlight, turning day into darkness. Totality occurs only in a narrow path across Earth's surface, with the partial solar eclipse visible over a surrounding region thousands of kilometers wide.
Occurring only one day after perigee (perigee on Sunday, April 7, 2024), the Moon's apparent diameter will be 5.5% larger than average. With a magnitude of 1.0566, its longest duration of totality will be of 4 minutes and 28.13 seconds near the Mexican town of Nazas, Durango, (about 4 mi (6 km) north), and the nearby city of Torreón, Coahuila.
This eclipse will be the first total solar eclipse to be visible in the provinces of Canada since February 26, 1979,[4][5] the first in Mexico since July 11, 1991,[6] and the first in the United States since August 21, 2017. It will be the only total solar eclipse in the 21st century where totality will be visible in Mexico, the U.S., and Canada.[7] It will also be the last total solar eclipse visible in the contiguous United States until August 23, 2044.
The final solar eclipse of the year will occur six months later, on October 2, 2024.
The totality of the solar eclipse will be visible in a narrow strip on the Pacific Ocean passing 230 miles (370 km) north of the Marquesas Islands and later in North America, beginning at the Pacific coast, then ascending in a northeasterly direction through Mexico, the United States, and Canada, before ending in the Atlantic Ocean
April is a month of changeable weather along the eclipse path. The weather in Mexico and the southern United States include afternoon convective buildups, whereas northern regions are still immersed in late winter and early spring weather, with passing low-pressure disturbances (e.g., rain, snow). Of these disturbances, eclipse-day cloud cover is most likely, unless severe storms are present across the south or spring storms with blizzard-like conditions are passing in the north. Cloud patterns are simple: lowest average cloud coverage occur in the south, particularly in Mexico, whereas the highest amounts of coverage crop up in the northeastern United States and Canada.
The path of the April 8, 2024 eclipse will cross the path of the prior total solar eclipse of August 21, 2017, with the intersection of the two paths being in southern Illinois, in Makanda, just south of Carbondale.[30] The cities of Benton, Carbondale, Chester, Harrisburg, Marion, and Metropolis in Illinois; Cape Girardeau, Farmington, and Perryville in Missouri, as well as Paducah, Kentucky, will be within a roughly 9,000-square-mile (23,000 km2) intersection of the paths of totality of both the 2017 and 2024 eclipses.

How Chatgpt is free
ChatGPT can now be used free of charge without a login
OpenAI says the new version of the AI chatbot is aimed at anyone who is curious about its capabilities
OpenAI is removing the last barrier that might stop people from trying ChatGPT by dropping the requirement to have an account to use the chatbot.
“Starting today, you can use ChatGPT instantly, without needing to sign-up. We're rolling this out gradually, with the aim to make AI accessible to anyone curious about its capabilities,” OpenAI wrote on its blog.
Based on our own testing, this hasn’t reached the UK yet or at least not our test browser instance. But you can try for yourself over at the ChatGPT website.
OpenAI said it has put some additional measures in place for this easy-access version of the chatbot. “We’ve also introduced additional content safeguards for this experience, such as blocking prompts and generations in a wider range of categories,” it says.
Creating an OpenAI account is free and unlocks access to ChatGPT on browser and through the iOS and Android apps.
However, even with an account, an OpenAI Plus subscription is required for the best experience with ChatGPT. For example, the free version of ChatGPT uses core GPT-3.5 AI, where ChatGPT Plus has the more advanced and intelligent GPT-4. A paid subscription is also required for features like image generation and voice control. This costs $20 (£16) a month.
ChatGPT’s free edition only has knowledge of real-world events up to January 2022, limiting its usefulness in plenty of scenarios.
ChatGPT Plus can search the internet using Microsoft Bing for up-to-date information rather than relying on a static knowledge base.
The chatbot’s two rivals are Microsoft CoPilot, previously known as Bing Chat, and Google Gemini, which was called Google Bard at launch. While these are not as well known as ChatGPT, their free versions can search for information on recent events, no doubt helped by the fact Google and Microsoft run search engines.
