First Contact w/ International Space Station (NA1SS) !!
Short video of my first amateur radio contact with the International Space Station (NA1SS) !! Needless to say, I was blessed to be able to capture this on video...I just happened to pick them up on scan on the 2m downlink frequency of 145.800 MHz.
I believe the astronaut was Serena Auñón-Chancellor (KG5TMT).
My station setup:
Radio: Yaesu FTM-100D
Power: 50W
Antenna: Comet GP-9 (omnidirectional) @ 40ft ht.
