Description
Founded in 2021 by 15-year-old Asher McChesney in the San Francisco Bay Area, Food For Flowers has quickly become a vibrant outlet for his boundless creative exploration in the world of music. From a young age, Asher displayed a deep passion for music, experimenting with various instruments and genres, and his project, Food For Flowers, encapsulates his diverse sonic influences and innovative approach.
In March 2022, Food For Flowers released its debut album, 'A Strange Suffering’. An avant-garde electronic album inspired by the likes of Aphex Twin. The record boasted a long track listing, and many of these songs were deemed unfit for the album, which prompted a reissue in February 2023 with a refined, condensed track listing.
Food For Flowers is currently working on a follow-up album titled 'Toybox,' which serves as both an homage to Asher's past and a reflection on the unfortunate events of his childhood.
