Backstory Podcast No 183 Haitians Eating Cats
Nowhere is the “Haitian Immigrant Eating Cats” debate more front and center than Sylacauga Alabama thanks to 1819 News and similar news outlets who tow the party line on whatever narrative their party demands. Yes not since a preacher being gay… or dressing in women's clothes ….or whatever….. has this storied news outlet covered a situation so completely and in an irresponsible and shallow manner. There are immigrants in Alabama and they are a strain on services. Why cant we all agree on that and now that we have identified the problem, then we can work to solve it. But it turns out there are contacts to be had and so now it’s a profit motive activity, I love this place. And in the end the debate did not “move the needle” as far as polling goes. Even Fairhope Alabama where the average price of a home is outside middle class ownership, we are begging for immigrants, or one City Councilman is. And it was shoots and ladders for the Trump Campaign as he got into a food fight with Taylor Swift and also avoided a second assassination attempt at the hands of an Oswaldian type figure who we are led to believe was a freedom fighter in Ukraine, native of North Carolina? The State of Alabama is showing the door to the best, most qualified public servant in the State today, Former Real Admiral and Jag Officer Kent David, Alabama Veterans Affairs Commissioner. What a damn shame. And it all has to do with a whistleblower Ethics Complaint. Israel has somehow caused all of the radios and pager utilized by their enemies to explode, injuring and killing hundreds, a new trick in an old game. The Renaissance School in Baldwin County for special needs kids has been robbed, an inside job possibly shuttering the school. The Director of the Alabama Department of Transportation had his harassment case thrown out this week. Brandon Moseley was a guest speaker for BamaCarry Inc of Tuscaloosa and he recaps his discussion of the five firearms related bills in the works for the 2025 session. And there is a new Most Corrupt Judge Award, this time it goes to Texas Federal Bankruptcy Judge David R. Jones. The Sheriff Department of Baldwin County has a new Command Staff. P Diddy has been denied bail in his sex crimes cases. And the Feds dropped interest rates by half a point. Finally, consider attending a rally in DC on September 29,2024 to “Rescue the Republic” will have several speakers such as RFK Jr, Tulsi Gabbards, and Russell Brand. And we end with good guys with guns.

Backstory Podcast No 182 Five Year Anniversary Show
Our attorney's hourly rate is $XXXX.XX-ish per and over the last five years he has produced 182 Episodes (4 hours pre-production, 2 hours to shoot, 4 hours post-production edit upload dissemination) at 10 hours per episode is 1,820 hours that he has donated to this cause because we believe that good should triumph... but how, when what passes for journalism in this State is a damn joke? Mr. Ripp, Rushin, and Moseley donate their time, skills, expertise and experience as well to make all of this happen.
For the Big Five we are joined by two special guests, (1) Former Baldwin County Murder Suspect and Mobile County Commissioner Stephen Nodine and (2) the man formerly married to the Lauderdale County Circuit Clerk Kneeland Hibbett (yes of the sporting goods company family) who also found himself a defendant in Baldwin County Alabama; coincidentally his ex-ole lady and the Baldwin Circuit Clerk at the time were besties (the two female Clerks in Alabama who were also Lawyers). It turns out you can learn a lot listening to the people the system failed. Or as the new vernacular has deemed it: LAWFARE victims. We then take you on a trip down an Alabama and Baldwin County "Corruption Memory Lane". Our content was forced from Youtube due to two strikes for violations of community guideline related to the plandemic which brought us here to Rumble. You can find all of our audio-only podcasts https://on.soundcloud.com/gBrRtJCUAebA8r5i8. We also maintain a Page on Facebook. It took five years... Godspeed Sheriff. Backstory Podcast THE 180
Yes VP Harris has gone from the scourge of the democratic party to their darling savior. They were riding high from the Democratic National Convention and then RFK Jr removes his name from battleground ballots and throws in with Candidate Trump consuming all of the oxygen in the room. We have one week left of Sheriff Mack in office here in Baldwin County, Alabama and the Governor is selecting a replacement as we speak. Pray for change but expect the worst. And, headline: Finebaum claims the University of Alabama Football Dynasty over.

Backstory Podcast No 179 Sheriff Mack Out OJ French Lawsuit In
The Family of OJ French Jr, the Bay Minette Justice League, and The French Family Legal Counsel May Jung LLC held a rally on July 31, 2024 where they revealed that they had filed a lawsuit in Federal Court against the City of Bay Minette and Officer Brandon Thompson. Mr. French revealed to the attendees that Mayor Robert Bob Wills lied when he said that he spoke for the family and further stated that they were "ok with the outcome" of the investigation and that this would no longer be at topic of conversation at the request of the family, which is apparently untrue. According to the lawsuit the Officer did not have probable cause for the stop and escalated the situation by demanding that the victim get out of the car. There was then apparently a struggle over a taser and Bay Minette Police Officer Brandon Thompson (acting on your behalf) shot this young man killing him. The fact that this video is not a public record should be a call to action to throw these bastards out, bottom to top- from Mayor Wills to the Legislators who rent his office and any Judge who thinks this video is a Grand Jury Secret, The Grand Jury has seen it and the Officer was cleared. No need to oust the Sheriff because he announced mid July that he is resigning mid August and wants Chief Deputy Anthony Lowery to be appointed to fill out the reminder of his term by Governor Ivey (Whitehouse-like-geriatrics-aside). Then enters County Commissioner Matt McKenzie who also wants the post. This is a major opportunity to moderately interrupt the BOSS HOGG influence in Baldwin County. Write to the Governor and ask her to not appoint Deputy Anthony Lowery (previously discussed in the DEAL WITH THE DEVIL CASE). In the mean time Trump got shot, Biden dropped out of the race, and Alabama intends to legislate that sharks must stay away from the Alabama shore. Mayor Wills and The Major Crimes Unit of Baldwin County are about to learn why the Old Indian Wisdom rings true.

Backstory Podcast No 178 Ryvid Anthem Electric Motorcycle Ordering Procedure
In this quick video we go to www.ryvid.com and order the all new, all electric Anthem motorcycle. Once our order was complete we received the tag and title paperwork in the mail and are awaiting delivery from California. This is a made in the USA product and if you watch our podcast regularly you will know that we love technology (in the right hands) that puts money in the pockets of our fellow Americans. At 50 I have been waiting more than a while for the future to get here....no starship Enterprise, no phasers or transporters just the computer that spies on us all. At least we have the Ryvid Anthem for our mid-life-crisis, and as a divorce attorney I can profess: "she's cheaper than a girlfriend".

Backstory Podcast No 177 Fairhope Court Trainwreck 4.0
In this video you will see two separate occasions when advocates for victim/women spoke in front of the City of Fairhope City Council (four years apart). Several on the Councilmen are friends with the perpetrator Ronan McSharry, an immigrant, bar owner, and public nuisance. The Council Members are also friends with the City's two Prosecutors (McDowell and Hazelweazel), that's how they got the job. And to sum it up, the best defense is owning the offense. Just ask McSharry's Criminal Defense Attorney John Beck or his Private Investigator Ketrick Kelley (former FBI agent and modern day Pinkerton).

Backstory Podcast No 176 Hanky Panky At The Po Po
Baldwin Countian of the Year 2023 (Nappie Awards), Commander of the Major Crimes Unit, and supervisor over Criminal Investigations CID, Public Relations, and Forensics... Captain Andre Reid was accused of having an affair with a subordinate. He has denied the allegations but the Ripp Report is awash with anonymous sources who seem to know a lot about the details of this and other instances of cover given to people in the "Sheriff's Circle of Protection". The Sheriff Department stated that they investigated and while there was no evidence of an affair but that certain policies had been violated. He never lost any pay, and is now Captain in charge of the Baldwin County Correction Center where he is in charge of several hundred women. On top of this there is a Federal Investigation ongoing as to what happened to item of evidence in the possession of Baldwin County Sheriff's Deputies who were working as Federal Agents under the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Taskforce (OCDEFT). The toll plaza at the beach express has been demolished. New laws go into effect related to cell phones and squatting in Alabama. RSA and David Bronner want a special session to save the State's economy through casino gaming. AG Marshall is accused of ignoring complaints against the ALGOP Party Chairman John Wahl. The Alabama Political Reporter gets outed for all of the State funds it receives to presumably influence their content. Trump Bannon and Hunter Biden are all going to jail (news since the last podcast). Anthony Fauci gets his day of grilling on the hill (beagles). And the Alabama Police Officers Standards and Training Commission soils the bed again, this time by failing to stop former FBI agent Christopher Bauer (who raped a co-worker at knife point) to become an Alabama State Trooper in 2019, he was convicted of raping a child this week. The Supreme Court has ended the ATF bump stock ban. But no one can tell you when you need a Federal Firearms License which may cost you your life (like the Little Rock Ark Airport Manager) there is a 350+ page publication you can read online. Finally the Alabama Attorney General has forwarded a complaint they received related to a murder for hire in Choctaw County Alabama to the local Sheriff for further investigation. The reason the complaint was made to the AG and not the local Sheriff is his family connection to one of the alleged participants. Hanky Panky at the Po Po indeed.

Backstory Podcast No 175 ShowDick3d
Just when you think it is safe to watch CSPAN, all hell breaks loose in DC with an intellectual debate between our finest orators (AOC & MTG). The Alabama Legislative Session came to a close last week with may bills important to Legislators from South Alabama ended up on the trash heap, We'll tell you why. But the best showdicking of the session had Rep Matt Simpson (R) Baldwin County on the receiving end. His Ethics Bill could not get out of the Senate. Bevis and Butt-Head (Tubberville and AG Marshall according to JD Crowe) attended the trial of DJT in NYC to support their hero and future meal ticket. Arrests have been made in the mass shooting that occurred in the Stockton Community of North Baldwin County. And in a showdicking of epic proportions, Paul Ripp recounts his Federal Lawsuit against the City of Fairhope and Council President Jack Bureell who stated publicly this past week that he is a champion of public participation. UAW fails to unionize Mercedes in Tuscaloosa. Proof that the Mayor and Council of Gulf Shores hates its citizenry, DRUGFEST or as it is known publicly "HangOut Fest" was this weekend and all the chaos and strain on public resources that come with it. And we discuss the new details in the execution of Brian Malenoski (airport manager in Little Rock, Arkansas) by the ATFE.

Backstory Podcast No 174 New House New Rules
Goodwyn Mills and Caywood are the architects selected by the State of Alabama to design a new State House and they have released renderings of the building as well as floor plans for the six story structure. The Alabama Legislature is in session for a few more days and it is with a heavy heart that we announce that Sen Greg Albritton killed his own gaming bill. It did not pass by his lone vote against. PCI gaming, you can say that again. But it could come back up and pass with only Albritton changing his vote. It appears that a new ethics bill will pass and be ignored much like the current ethics laws. Dirty Library books, more money for their slush funds, historical horse racing slot machines, porn blockers factory settings for mobile phones (sounds anti-republican as one can get), and the Alabama Legislature created a new property right similar to mineral rights but one that allows the owner of the PORE SPACE under the property to fill it with toxic waste in the form of aerosolized gas. And authorizing the Alabama Department of Conservation to lease this space under our state land, water, and parks. New Rules. Deputy Hornady and the Baldwin County Commission lose their immunity in the shooting death of Johnathan Victor. Mobile has fired its Chief of Police. The student protests are out of control and every participant is an antisemite (according to the news). Another Boeing whistleblower bites the dust. The Trump hush money trial is a circus. And Trump VP candidate Kristi Noem reveled in her autobiography (fill in this blank with your favorite meme) that she once killed her dog because he wasn't good at bird hunting. Yes this could be her Waterloo.

Backstory Podcast No 173 Smoke and Bridges
The Alabama Legislature is in session and bad ideas are making it into Bills which may become Law if you do not reach out to your Elected Officials. The State of Alabama (Department of Transportation) and the City of Orange Beach have settled the lawsuit brought by the Toll Bridge Owners; handing over $60 million for a bridge that was touted to have cost $30 million in 2002. The City of Mobile and Montgomery terminate their Chiefs of Police. After admitting malfeasance on a radio show (ouch) Alabama Ethic Commission Stan McDonald has resigned. Librarians to be locked over dirty books in the library, please see the Fairhope City Council meetings if you want to see what a show they are making of our public processes. All of the Governor's Working for Alabama Bills have passed with the Innovations District Legislation stalled for good reason. Deep State Operatives are to now be in charge of the Medical Marijuana Licenses. And the Alabama Legislature has appointed a joint committee to hammer out the Gaming Bill (s). Former Limestone County Sheriff Mike Blakely has been sprung by his pals at the Pardons and Parole Board. He only stole a little and we like him. The City of Dothan fires their City Manager after the Summer Feeding Program Scandal which included an unconcluded FBI investigation. Israel-Iran Drones vs. The Iron Dome, Missing Body Parts at UAB, Zombie Deer Disease, and a whole lot more.

Backstory Podcast No 170 Tide's End
With the exit of Alabama Head Coach Nick Saban all Auburn alums are praying for a repeat of the Tubberville years on The Plains (not to be confused with the Tubberville years in the Senate, which no one will refer to as the good ole days). And within three days they have a new coach at "the university". Judge Wilters (currently serving as District Attorney for the 28th Judicial District) has answered the Rule 32 Petition filed by Murray "Bubba" Lawrence Jr wherein the DA claims that Brady Information withheld by the State of Alabama is not reversible error. It should be noted that Wilters was the Judge who sat on this very case. Reporter Brandon Moseley was in the Bass Pro Shop this week when a man swam naked in the fish tank, you get to hear it first hand. And also breaking the internet this week was a drunk Mountain Brook partygoer stuck in an urn during a cocktail party. This week a Federal Court dismissed Mobile Baykeepers lawsuit against Alabama Power Company related to the Coal Ash or CCRs that they intend to cap in place on the banks of the Mobile River. This week Brandon also gives us a preview of his latest article "The Top Ten Political Stories of 2024". And there could not have been a better weather day for the Martin Luther King Jr parade here in Daphne Alabama but this will not last... a big winter storm rolling in has cancelled schools in much of Alabama for tomorrow.

Backstory Podcast No 169 The Lie of The Century
After three years, a Documentary Filmmaker has put forth a compelling narrative of what actually led to the death of George Floyd (https://rumble.com/v3vyvzv-the-fall-of-minneapolis.html) It appears that the medical examiner's report stated that there was no indication of asphyxiation, damage to the hyoid bone, and no contusions on the neck that would indicate the Derek Chauvin killed George Floyd. In fact, the toxicology report indicates that he had a three times fatal dose of fentanyl in his system when he died. All of this was suppressed of course so that the BLM riots could spread across this county. Similarly, there is a case here in Baldwin County Alabama where an autopsy report was withheld from the Defense team of Murray “Bubba” Lawrence in the Capital Murder of Eric Hastings who died in 2003. The Motion for Relief is based on newly discovered evidence under Rule 32 of the Alabama Rules of Criminal Procedure. And who all was involved back in the day? Well it was DA David Whetstone’s last capital case. Our current District Attorney Robert Wilters was the trial Judge, and the lead investigator Lt Huey Hoss Mack is now our 4th term Boss Hogg Sheriff (interestingly enough his father was the Coroner of Baldwin County in 2003, also the owner of Mack Funeral Home which handled the burial arrangements for the Hastings Family). The State of Alabama's case rested on the testimony of a co-conspirator and there was no physical evidence that Mr. Lawrence committed the crime. The issue here: was Brandon Hastings murdered with a handgun? Shot through the neck destroying the C-2 vertebrae or was he strangled as Dr. Paul McGarry would testify at trial. You must be asking yourself how a man could be convicted of shooting another when the Mississippi ME says he was strangled? You obviously have not been to Court in Baldwin County, Alabama. Backstory Podcast No 168 Delicately Censored
Happy Thanksgiving. This week we discuss the removal of a document by the Guardian News and whether coercion was in play. In a major reversal, the self appointed arbitrator of free speech Elon Musk declares certain statements to be out of bounds and will result in suspension. All on the heels of the ADL and Whitehouse decrying his retweeting of statement they believe to be anti-Semitic. Next comes the "thermonuclear" lawsuit. In other lawsuit news this week Republican front runner Donald Trump sued numerous media outlets saying they intentionally misstated earning (losses) of Truth Social. Back to Alabama where Baldwin County Judge Clark Stankoski gave Sheriff Huey Mack 43 days to return the Camaro they illegally seized from the father of a Bay Minette Attorney. Mobile PD killed a 16 year old in a no-knock-pre-dawn-raid on a home. Mayor Stinson declares these raids will no longer be conducted. The warrant was related to the sale of Marijuana. Following the game-plan of The Mike Hubbard and Governor Robert Bentley scandals; Attorney General Steve Marshall, Ethic Director Tom Albritton, Regions Bank and the plaintiff's attorneys have reached a settlement in the Mabel Amos Memorial Scholarship Trust lawsuit.; thereby negating the need for further discovery that may embarrass power people, corporations, or institutions. And Speaker Ledbetter tells the mouthpiece of the gaming establishment that illegal gambling is so rampant that the only way to combat it is to legalize and regulate it. And a special shout out to Michigan Attorney Steve Lahto for covering the Camaro Case, please check out his YouTube page.

Backstory Podcast No 167 Reputation Burning
This week the outlet 1819 News (which first began publishing in October 2021, was previously a fully-owned subsidiary of the Alabama Policy Institute) published a series of stories leveling accusations at the Mayor of Smith Station Alabama who is also a Pastor at a Church in Phoenix City Alabama that he cross dressed and published photos of himself in this "state of dress" on the internet on a reddit forum. On Friday the Sheriff's Department was asked to locate F.L. Bubba Copeland for a welfare check which let to a low speed chase which ended with the Mayor/Pastor pulling over, producing a weapon, and taking his own life. Was this news? In a State a rotten as this one? Proportionally, that's your call but we will give you some examples. Also this week we explore those running for Alabama Congressional District 2 and 1. Coastal Alabama Community College has a new acting president, guess how you get that job? The Montgomery County Circuit Judge in the Mabel Amos Memorial Scholarship Lawsuit (which includes the Alabama Ethics Commission Executive Director Tom Albritton as a defendant) appointed a Special Master (you won't believe who) to review the activities of the Trust Board and who got the money. Matt Simpson's Campaign Finance and Ethics Committee of the Alabama House of Representatives was crashed last week by a person in a Gorilla Suit. A School Bard Member and Publisher of the Atmore Advance newspaper was arrested and charged with Violation of The Grand Jury Secrecy Act. Former Exorcist Priest Crow has returned to Mobile Alabama after his trip that cost him his collar with a recent graduate of McGill-Toolan High School. While there are allegations of grooming, the Mobile County DA and Sheriff say the case is closed. Sheriff Mack says he can not act outside of his jurisdiction to bring back the 68 Camaro seized from a local attorney. A brief update on the War in Gaza. And while Mr. Ripp is in Belize this week we are joined by Kim Earl who is a candidate for Baldwin County Circuit Clerk (most notably the Absentee Election Manager under Alabama State Law).

Backstory Podcast No 166 The Murray Lawrence Jr Project
Today we have an audio story for you that has been a long, long time coming. Murray "Bubba" Lawrence Jr was convicted of the murder of Brandon Hastings who disappeared from Foley, Alabama during Spring Break of 2003 and whose body was found a week later near Guitier/Vancleave, Mississippi. The State convicted Lawrence on the word of a co-conspirator, a "Deal With The Devil" according to David Whetstone Baldwin County District Attorney circa 2003. The irony is that then Lt. Huey Mack was the Lead Detective and is now the 5th term Sheriff of Baldwin County and the Judge in the case Robert Wilters is now serving his second term as District Attorney after a 22 year stretch on the bench. You can read along by following the link: https://deal-with-the-devil.com/full-story/ and support the efforts to free him by contributing at http://spot.fund/1t4mwsc. Harry Still is no longer Attorney of Record for Murray Lawrence Jr, his petition for a new trial is being handled by The Maxwell- Tillman Law Firm in Birmingham, Alabama based on this newly discovered Brady Evidence. The Lagniappe Mobile Newspaper article can be found at https://www.lagniappemobile.com/news/advocates-discover-autopsy-never-included-in-baldwin-man-s-murder-trial/article_81ab84a6-6232-11ee-b70f-23cd5b5a2abc.html

Backstory Podcast No 165 Pure Kafka
We are joined from Pensacola Beach by former Mobile County Commissioner Stephen Nodine to discuss the 5th Circuit ruling regarding the Federal Crime of being a drug user (marijuana) in possession of a firearm. Having been prosecuted for murder by the Baldwin County Justice System, Mr. Nodine lends his seasoned mind to help us unpack the seizure of an alleged stolen 68 Chevy Camaro from an Attorney in Good Standing of the Alabama State Bar, Hon. Jason Hadley. Baldwin County Circuit Judge Clark Stankoski has ordered the vehicle returned but late Friday there was a plea from the District Attorney and Sheriff decrying the decision and demanding the Judge reverse his decision. If we get a hearing date we will pass that on. The police coverup is alive and well in Boston Mass where Karen Read's defense team claims she has been set up by The Massachusetts State Police for a crime committed by law enforcement, Officer of the Boston PD, the catch? The victim is also a Boston Police Officer. And "The Taxman" State Senator Chris Elliott is making friends and holding up a contract for the West Alabama Corridor. Go watch some SEC football.

Backstory Podcast No 164 The Mug Shot
Former President Donald Trump was defiant in his first interview after being booked into an Atlanta Jail this week under a RICO prosecution scheme that has almost 20 co-conspirators, complete with what will become an iconic mugshot. There was a Republican Presidential Debate and taking the lead from the Mee-Maw and Coach Tubbs playbook, Trump did not participate. Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall has let off a salvo of allegations at the Biden Administration regarding the announcement that Space Command will not be located in Huntsville Alabama but instead to Colorado. And while the AG is fighting Washington, the Decatur City Police are taking down multiple illegal gambling establishments. The Backstory Crew attended the sentencing hearing of William Coleman Barkley who was convicted of the attempted murder of an Auburn Police Officer, an officer who shot him first and Mr. Barkley (and his wife who called for assistance) claim that he did not know the police were at the residence. He got 35 years. State Senator Chris Elliott AKA THE TAX MAN spoke to citizens in Foley this week where he espoused the dangers of books and his opinion that sex should not be taught in schools at all (good luck with teaching biology, history, anthropology....). This was the flavor of the week for the NEOCON Right who have taken to the podium at the Foley City Council meeting this week and there is a new Right Wing Soccer Mom club with a new chapter in Baldwin County known as "Moms for Liberty". There was an officer involved shooting in Westchester Colorado and the body cam was released within a few days, note to all Alabama Law Enforcement and The Alabama Supreme Court. The Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission will find out if it violated the States Open Meeting Laws by going into an executive session on Monday in Montgomery County Circuit Court. The Baldwin Bridge Company lost its lawsuit against the Alabama Department of Transportation so the third bridge onto Pleasure Island in Alabama is back on and will be toll free. And finally we discuss the best way to remove the Richard Scrushy beaver dam from a Foley Park, this one has a hot tub and beautiful views of the bay.

Backstory Podcast No 163 Trump N Bama
After attending his arraignment in Washington DC former President Donald Trump attended the Alabama GOP Summer swag promising to six lane I-65 from Huntsville to Mobile; presumably as recompense for the whole Space Command debacle. While here he was endorsed by all ALGOP Congressmen. Tommy Tubberville of said Space Command debacle is alleged to not own any property in the State that he represents and we are sure the "Truth Will Out" on this one. In addition to hosting Trump the GOP also decided that any Republican running for any elected position on local school boards would be prohibited from taking money from the Alabama Education Association, a novel approach to defang ones perceived political enemies. In addition Montgomery was host to a "racially motivated brawl" that occurred at the Waterfront Park. Almost as inviting for tourism is the revelation that a rape kit is almost impossible for a victim of a sexual assault to have evidence collected in Baldwin County. Maybe the CVB should put these facts on their website. In another priceless moment, Gov Ivey responded to a question from a reporter as to who was going to take these jobs she is creating in a 2% unemployment state, to which she answered: "They are going to have to get off their fannies". EPA is poised to deny Alabama Power Companies plan to cap in place 80 years of industrial waste in the form of coal ash. The State of Alabama also issued a new fish consumption advisory...dont eat a bass unless it came out of a pond. It is Jubilee Season in Daphne and the ADCNR wants to remind you that your creel limits are not abated during the occurrence. Marion County Kansas and Baldwin County Alabama seem to be the only places in America where the 4th Estate and freedom of the press means diddly-squat. Father Alex Crow Aka The Mobile Exorcist was allegedly a high school girl grooming sexual predator all along. After little debate a Montgomery Judge has suspended the licenses issues by the embattled Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission for entering into executive session to illegally discuss the licensures of individual applicants. The CDC has confirmed the existence of an illegal lab discovered in California allegedly run by Chinese Nationals that contained Covid 19, HIV, Herpes, etc. State Senator Tim Melson is back stateside after a heart attack in Korea last week. Fairhope Alabama has an infrastructure problem (shocker) this time they are out of water. Karol Kemp and Michael Hoyt have announced that they are seeking two of the three new judicial positions created by the legislature and on the ballot next cycle. Alabama's hearing regarding their US Congressional reapportionment did not go well on Monday. Maybe we should blame the Rich men North of Richmond. And finally website related to the wrongful conviction of Murray "Bubba" Lawrence Jr has a new FULL STORY tab that went live this week and we hope that you will check it out at www.deal-with-the-devil.com.

Backstory Podcast No 162 Not A Hard Liquor
Meemaw AKA Alabama Governor Kay Ivey has a new alcoholic beverage sporting her likeness and name- complete with the Col. Sanders bow tie. That would all be fine and well if she was not an octogenarian running a complex organization that is pretty much off the rails. From private dollars to lawyers to defend the indefensible, to a Medical Cannabis License scandal designed to derail the entire program, and with a Legislature that is content with a special master drawing our congressional lines, to quote Mr. Ripp: "This place is nuts".

Backstory Podcast No 161 Double Standard
This week the Justice Department announced a sweetheart deal for first son Hunter Biden. The Alabama Supreme Court rules, yet again that electronic bingo is illegal in Alabama. The Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission is in multiple lawsuits after farming the application rating process out to the Governor's former chief of staff, and no kidding it is totally corrupt, allegedly. Also some revelations from the Durham Report on FBI Crossfire-Hurricane. And a major settlement was reached this week related to forever chemicals, China wants a base in Cuba, and "subwatch" ended this week predictably.

Backstory Podcast No 159 Alien Indictment
This week we saw revelations come to light that indicate that the Executive Branch (Defense Department) has been concealing from Congress and the American People the existence of non-human remains and technology in the form of aerial vehicles recovered over the last 50 years. Almost as alien was the indictment of a former President for mishandling of classified documents, a crime which former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was given a "pass" by FBI Director Comey prior to the 2016 election. The Supreme Court of the United States again step-childs Alabama in a decision related to how our U.S. House Districts are not complaint with the Voting Rights Act of 1965, a huge gamble and loss for Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall. Hottie Colorado Rep Lauren Bobert claims to have seen evidence of a $5Million bribery scheme involving President Biden when he was the Vice President. His response at the following presser was rehearsed.
