We live completely off-grid using solar power for our electricity needs.

We have a dual fuel generator as back up but rarely need to use it.

We plan to utilize rain catchment in the future but for now we haul water using an IBC tote on a trailer that we fill at a town nearby that cost about $30/month.

We are currently living in Cochise County Arizona but have recently purchased 10 acres in Arkansas! We are making plans and preparing to move to Arkansas soon!
