Asatru Folk Assembly

Asatru is an expression of the native, pre-Christian spirituality of Europe. More specifically, it is the religion by which the Ethnic European Folk have traditionally related to the Divine and to the world around them. From Iceland to Russia, from the frozen north of Scandinavia to the Mediterranean, the Ethnic European Folk wandered and settled over a span of thousands of years. Today, their descendants are spread around the world. We may refer to ourselves as Americans or English, Germans or Canadians, but behind these labels lurks an older, more essential identity. Our forefathers were Angles and Saxons, Lombards and Heruli, Goths and Vikings – and, as sons and daughters of these peoples, we are united by ties of blood and culture undimmed by the centuries. Asatru is our native religion. It gave our ancestors comfort in millennia past, and it can give us strength and inspiration today. The word “Asatru” comes to us from Old Norse, the tongue of ancient Scandinavia, where it means “those loyal to the Gods.” Since the ancient Scandinavian version of our religion is the best documented, it has given us much of Asatru’s terminology and imagery. The soul of Asatru, however, is not confined to the Scandinavian model but encapsulates the belief of all the Ethnic European Folk. Indeed, Asatru reflects the deeper religiosity common to virtually all the nations of Europe. Learn more at www.runestone.org. Last Call

Hello. Come on in! Want a drink? Have a seat. What would you like to talk about? Politics? Pop culture? The latest in geek news? Relationships? Toys? Yeah, that could be taken more than one way … either way’s fine with me. You tell me what you want to talk about. Friday Night is Last Call. 9 PM Central time, I open up the bar to hang out and drink to the start of the weekend. I usually go until after 11, so if you’re making the rounds, stop by and say hi. I may be chatting on a particular topic, doing a watch party of a beloved film, or interviewing another content creator, but whatever it is, I’ll be enjoying an adult beverage or five. I’m told I get more interesting as the evening goes on. And from time to time, I’ll drop other random videos. Toy collecting and customs, maybe a rant or two. Whatever I do, I hope you find it interesting. So, pull up a stool, top off your glass and strap in. Here we go…

Just a simple guy trying to do cool things. I'm a self taught DIY kind of guy. Grew up working a farm every summer learning the value of fixing things over replacing them. Gained valuable skills. I'm not a mechanic by trade, but I work on my own vehicles (occasionally for family/friends). I'm not an appliance repairman, but learn how to fix my own appliances. I video myself doing this in hopes of inspiring others to do the same. Take a chance, learn something new and keep some of your hard earned cash in your own wallet! Remember to always be safe and "don't do dumb stuff"! My kids will probably have that engraved on my tombstone! Be sure to subscribe and share my channel with others who might watch too!
