The philosophical definition of Solipsism is that one's own self and/or consciousness is the only thing that can be known to exist. While I certainly don't live that way, I find the concept fascinating. So the way that relates to films is to identify that feeling when you watch a movie and it feels like it was personalized for only you to view, and you can connect with it in a surreal and emotional way that maybe you never even knew was possible.
