The term “Convincing Proof” is taken from Acts 1:3, which says, "...[Jesus] also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God." Here, Luke is explaining how Jesus appeared to His disciples after His death and for forty days presented many convincing proofs that He was truly alive and resurrected.
