In a fitness industry crowded with those with limitied knowledge and sometimes not the best intentions, it\\\'s important to know where your fitness and nutrition information comes from. We\\\'ve go you covered. Meet the team: Co-Founder and Director of Performance Joshua Ortegon Joshua graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science. After graduation, Joshua interned at the world renowned IMG Academies to further his practical application in the field of strength and conditioning. As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Joshua has worked with all populations from professional athletes to general fitness enthusiast in the area of strength and conditioning, nutritional guidance and performance. As a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach, Josh has worked with all populations in the area of weight loss, body composition changes and muscle building. Josh was the co-founder of Athlete\\\'s Arena Sports Performance and CrossFit Athlete’s Arena in Irmo, SC for 10 years. In 2016 Josh founded PHNM Brand Fitness & Nutrition and works as the Director of Performance for their online coaching and nutritional consulting business. Co-Founder and Chief Science Officer Mike Wines Mike graduated from the University of South Carolina with his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and Human Performance. During his undergraduate career, he interned with multiple collegiate and professional organizations including EXOS (formerly Athlete’s Performance) and USC in which he had the opportunity to work with many of the players from the 2010 and 2011 World Series championship teams. After his undergraduate studies, Mike worked as a private strength coach while continuing to oversee a number of long term athletic development programs. Mike went on to complete his Masters in exercise physiology and applied sport science at East Tennessee State University while working under the head of sport biomechanics for the Olympic training site at ETSU.
