Best Eyeliner for Aging Eyes
Best eyeliner for aging eyes? As we age, our eyelids get wrinkly, and the old stand-by pencils stop working.
Because we have to tug on our skin, the color doesn't lay down, or we get a choppy, yucky line. Not to mention the inherent problem of pencils... they tend to break, and they're a pain to sharpen.
Then you have liquid eyeliner, which arguably goes on smoother. But it's tricky to use and makes a mess.
So what's the answer?
It's powdered/paste eyeliner using a brush... and in this video, I'm showing you the one I found recently where the brush and eyeliner are all in one!
I show you how to apply it (regular or a wing), how to wash it, why I love it so much, and what my favorite colors are. One of them even does double-duty as lip liner!
Here's more info or to buy it (I think you'll love it):

How to Brush Style Curly Hair +Which Brush Is Best!
I've been experimenting with brush styling for a couple months to see if I can get curlier curls and longer-lasting curls.
And after a lot of awkwardness, I'm figuring out how to do it, along with which brush and products work best!
If I put in an extra ten minutes to brush style, my style lasts for two full days (and often three). For me, that's significant! My curls get stretched out and dried out easily and usually are gone by the end of day one.
My hair has NEVER stayed this curly this long! 🙏🏻

3 Homemade Acne Treatments: Spot Treatment or All-Over!
🥰 Ladies over 40, even though our skin tends to get more dry, many of us still get acne... either occasional or struggle with it regularly. 😢
Here's how to use zinc as a powerful acne spot treatment and overall acne treatment! Works for younger women and men, too! 🎉
Three ways you can do this... and it all starts with a zinc supplement, either in liquid form or capsules. According to my research and those I trust, the best form of zinc is picolinate (with no fillers). Link to my recommended zinc at the bottom of this text.
1. Acne spot treatment using zinc capsule. You need an empty container. I use a leftover tin. Take one zinc capsule. Open it... empty it into the tin. Now it's got powder inside. Dip your finger in water, then dip it in the tin of powder. Pat the mixture on any pimples. Get more water if needed, so it makes a paste that you can then see on your skin. If you're not going anywhere or seeing anyone, or you don't care, you can leave it on throughout the day. I usually use this method at night only, since it's visible. 😉
2. All-over acne treatment using zinc capsule. Put a little of the zinc powder into the palm of your hand. You'll learn over time how much is best. Put a dollop of your regular face moisturizer (suited to your skin type) or aloe vera, and put it in your palm, too. Mix the powder and lotion together. Then spread on your face and neck. You can also put it on your back if you have pimples there, too. Pretty cool! Now every time you moisturize, you're also doing an acne treatment. 🙌🏻
3. All-over acne treatment or a spot treatment using liquid zinc. Put liquid zinc in a little spray bottle. After washing and before moisturizing, spray it all over or just on spots. Do this morning and night, and even throughout the day as needed. Pat it on, then follow up with moisturizer.
So there you have it... 3 ways to use zinc for homemade acne treatments, either all over or as spot treatments. Personally, I find zinc to be more effective than benzoyl peroxide, and it's really made a difference in healing my acne fast. 🙏🏻
Of course... be sure to use these remedies in conjunction with a skin care routine that's suited to your skin type and your issues. If you'd like to know if what I use and recommend might work for you, too, go here: https://wardee.com/questions to answer a few quick questions to see if it might be a good fit for you.

How to Reduce Frizz (Tip 7 of 7)
Number seven... tips for reducing frizz... sleep on a silk pillowcase. 💤
This is the same idea as using the right kind of towel!
If you're sleeping and rubbing your head all night on the usual fabric for pillowcases, you're introducing frizz and you're damaging your hair. 😢
On the other hand, a silk pillowcase is soft and smooth. It minimizes the frizz and damage that can accumulate while you sleep. 😴
And in fact, I filmed this quick video after taking a nap... on a silk pillowcase... without putting my hair up. You can hardly tell, right? 🙌🏻
I should also add... some ladies like to wear a silk scarf or a cap to bed. This is a great option, too! It accomplishes the same thing as sleeping on a silk pillowcase.
There you have it, our seventh and final tip for reducing frizz. 🥰
If frizz is giving you fits, or you're having any other hair problems, I might be able to help you have great hair days again. Just reach out in a chat @wardee_beauty on Gab or a text message 1-208-516-3615 and we can chat (no pressure).

How to Reduce Frizz (Tip 6 of 7)
Number six... tips for reducing frizz. Diffuse the RIGHT way!
This is for the curlies or waveys who diffuse their hair for more volume and curl definition. You want to do it the right way!
This means you're not handling your hair much at all. And you're also not constantly moving the diffuser.
When your hair is wet... getting sections of your hair, curling them up in the diffuser and holding it to your scalp for 10 to 15 seconds before moving onto the next section. And you repeat that all over your head until your hair is about 80% dry.
Diffusing the wrong way... you get more frizz. Diffusing the right way... you get more volume and curl definition... without frizz.
If you need any help with your hair... choosing the right products or perfecting your technique for the look you want for great hair days, please do reach out in a text 1-208-516-3615 message or chat @wardee_beauty on Gab. I'd love to help.

How to Reduce Frizz (Tip 5 of 7)
📌 Tip number five for reducing frizz... NO touching!
Most of the tips I'm sharing in this series to do with handling your hair. That's because a lot of frizz is introduced by the things we do to our hair!
So... stop touching it! (I'm telling this to myself, too.)
Once your hair is wet down and styled... it's hands off!
I do want to add for curly girls, though, "styling" for you might include air-drying... so it's hands-off while your hair is drying, too.
🤷🏻♀️ If you're having trouble with your hair... frizz, thinning, dryness... I might be able to help. Message me @wardee_beauty on Gab or text me 1-208-516-3615 and we can chat.

How to Reduce Frizz (Tip 4 of 7)
Tip number four... reducing frizz.
Use at least one frizz-reducing styling product. For curls and waves... gel. It's the gold standard for reducing frizz and defining those curls.
But there are other styling products you can use, too.. mousse or curl cream, among others. They also can reduce frizz and give that styling benefit that you particularly want. Like, volume or softer curl definition.
In my opinion, the benefits of using at least one frizz-reducing styling product... so we have good hair days instead of bad... far outweigh any inconvenience we might have from adding one more product to our routine.
Plus, if you're a curly girl like me, you can actually apply your gel or your curl cream right in the shower. So when you get out of the shower, your hair is practically done. Not complicated at all.
If your frizz is giving you fits, I might be able to help you have good hair days instead. Just reach out in a chat @wardee_beauty on Gab or a text message 1-208-516-3615, and I'll see if I can help.

How to Reduce Frizz (Tip 3 of 7)
Tip #3... reducing frizz...
Scrunch-dry your hair with a microfiber towel or a 100% cotton t-shirt towel.
If you're using a regular terrycloth bath towel to dry your hair and/or rub your hair dry, you're already starting off on the wrong foot right out the gate. Tons of frizz. Not to mention breakage!
Instead, scrunch-dry your hair like this with a microfiber towel or a t-shirt towel.
I usually do it with my head upside down.
These types of towels, and the technique of scrunch-drying your hair, doesn't make your hair frizzy.
If your hair is giving you trouble, and you want to have good hair days again, please reach out. I might be able to help... send me a text message 1-208-516-3615 or a chat @wardee_beauty... I'd love to help.

How to Reduce Frizz (Tip 2 of 7)
Tip number two... how to reduce frizz.
Use a conditioner. Many ladies with fine hair, like me, have been afraid of conditioners off and on throughout our lives. This is because most conditioners are too heavy for us. So yes, our hair gets conditioned, but it's totally flat.
But no matter the hair type, you do need conditioning to reduce frizz! And even fine hair needs conditioner. You just need to have the RIGHT conditioner for your hair type that doesn't weigh your hair down. Conditioner is essential to hydrate your hair and leave it shiny and moist instead of dry and frizzy.
If you need help finding the right shampoo and conditioner for your hair type, please reach out in a text message 1-208-516-3615 or a chat @wardee_beauty... I'd love to help. 💕

How to Reduce Frizz (Tip 1 of 7)
Frizz... drives you mad, doesn't it? Personally, I hate that frizz glow. It's like this fuzz that just goes around your head, like a cloud... yuck.
Good news! In this video series, I'm going to share tips on how to reduce frizz.
Do keep in mind though... a tiny bit of frizz is always going to be there... just the way it is. How do we keep the frizz minimal, though? That's what I'm going to show you in this quick video series.
Tip number one... no brushing! Brushing introduces frizz, especially if your hair is dry (meaning not wet). Instead of brushing, you can use a wide-tooth comb. But I would suggest only using this comb, if you need it, in the shower, after your hair is wet, with or without conditioner, to detangle.
For many, including me, conditioner is sufficient. Wash your hair, put on the conditioner and you can easily detangle your hair, just with your fingers.
If it's a non-wash day and you wet your hair down, you might need a comb, maybe your fingers. It really depends on your own hair, and if you add conditioner, and how easy it is to detangle your hair.
But remember... no brushing! Only use a wide tooth comb, if necessary.
If your hair is giving you fits and you want to have good hair days again, reach out. I might be able to help... just message me @wardee_beauty or text me 1-208-516-3615.

How to Help Extra Dry Hair (Tip 4 of 4)
Tip #4 for staying on top of extra dry hair... Use a hair masque.
A hair mask is a deep conditioner for your hair. It hydrates more deeply than your regular conditioner.
You use a hair masque in or out of the shower for five to 30 minutes at a time. You wash your hair, apply the masque let it sit, rinse it out, and then style your hair as usual.
You can expect shinier, softer, more hydrated hair on days you use a hair masque.
I have another video on my channel with the full details on how to use a hair masque by hair type... because it's different, whether you have fine hair, normal hair, or coarse hair. So be sure to check out that video for the full details.
That was it! Four tips to help you get on top of extra dry hair.
If you need any help finding the right shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner, hair oil, and/or masque for your hair type and your issues, then please get in touch. You can message me @wardee_beauty on Gab or text me 1-208-516-3615. God bless you!

How to Help Extra Dry Hair (Tip 3 of 4)
Tip #3... tips to get on top of extra dry hair.
Use a hair oil. Use a hair oil before you wash, after you wash, or even on in-between days on dry hair.
There's definitely some trial and error... play with different amounts so that your hair gets hydrated, doesn't get greasy.
One of our daughters who has extra dry coarse hair in the hair at the nape of her neck uses hair oil the night before she washes her hair. So she just applies it and lets it really soak into the hair. And then in the morning, she does her normal shampooing and conditioning. And on that day, I can tell a definite difference. Her hair is softer, shinier, smoother, and it just looks so much more healthy.
One more tip coming your way... how to get on top of extra dry hair. So be sure to subscribe and follow.

How to Help Extra Dry Hair (Tip 2 of 4)
We're talking tips to get on top of extra dry hair. Here's #2... Leave-in conditioner.
On wash days, use a leave-in conditioner. This is a conditioner that's not meant to rinse out. So you shampoo and condition as usual. Then you apply leave-in conditioner throughout your hair, or you can try just from the ears down, or just on the ends. You don't rinse it out.
You'll also find that a leave-in conditioner helps you detangle and restyle your hair on non-wash days because it's so smoothing and conditioning. Make sure not to overdo, though, or you might lose some volume.
I have a couple more tips headed your way in this series on how to get on top of extra dry hair, so be sure to subscribe and follow. If you'd like any help with your hair, reach out... text me 1-208-516-3615 or message me on Gab @wardee_beauty. I'm happy to help.
