This verse shows there is a connection between the health of our soul and the health of our body. If our soul is unhealthy and full of sin, bad emotions, and trauma, then our physical body will be affected negatively. This can result in sickness, disease, and chronic pains and conditions. One of the reasons for this is something called tension myositis syndrome or TMS.
