Standing in the Fire is all about the spirit manifested in the tale of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego--among many others since, including Detrich Boenhoeffer and Helmuth Hubener, who resisted the regime's demand that they comply with the worship of the elite's idols (or in other words, they resisted the dogma asserted by tyrants) by asserting instead that, whether it cost them their lives or not, they would stand for God, truth, and liberty, come what may!
