Hello Everyone! Today we are going to cook Lauki Gosht. This recipe is always one of my favorite because its simply delicious 😋
Lauki Gosht is a delicious Pakistani dish made with bottle gourd and meat. Here's a basic recipe;
Ingredients:
- 1kg chicken (you can use mutton or beef too), cut into pieces
- 2 medium-sized bottle gourd (lauki), peeled and cut into cubes
- 3 onions, finely sliced
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 5-6 green chilies, slit
- 2 teaspoons ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Oil or ghee for cooking
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing
Instructions:
1. Heat oil or ghee in a large pot. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
2. Add sliced onions and fry until golden brown.
3. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for a minute until the raw smell disappears.
4. Add meat pieces and cook until they are browned on all sides.
5. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
6. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and oil starts to separate.
7. Add the bottle gourd (lauki) cubes and mix everything together.
8. Add enough water to cover the meat and lauki. Cover the pot and let it simmer until the meat is tender and lauki is cooked.
9. Once the meat and lauki are cooked, add garam masala and slit green chilies. Let it simmer for a few more minutes.
10. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
11. Serve hot with naan, rice, or roti.

Hello Everyone, Welcome to the kitchen Tonight. Today we are going to cook Degi Style Beef Korma. It's one of my favorite dish too. So let's start cooking without waisting a minute.
Ingredients:
- 2kg beef, cubed
- 4 onions, finely sliced
- 3 tomatoes, chopped
- 4 tablespoons yogurt
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 2 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 5-6 green chillies
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
1. Heat 2 glasses of water, put washed beef, onions, 1 tablespoon salt, dalchini, cloves & big Elaichi and put it on boil on medium low flame.
2. Check after 20 minutes if needed pour 1 glass of water & if not then put sliced tomatoes, mix well & cover it with lid and let it cook for ten more minutes.
3. Add minced garlic and ginger. Saute for another 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
4. Remove the lid after 10 minutes and add all the masala according to taste. Stir well to coat the beef with the spices.
5. Add yogurt and stir well until the water dries and the oil starts to separate from the masala.
6. Add 1/2 cup cooking oil & fry the beef well for ten minutes over high flame until oil separates from masala.
7. Add green chillies & stir well.
8. Garnish with chopped cilantro.
10. Serve your Degi Beef Korma hot with naan or rice. Enjoy!
Note: Adjust the spiciness according to your preference by adding more or less red chili powder.

Hello Everyone! Welcome to the kitchen Tonight. Today we are going to cook LAHORI CHANA. It's a very famous & delicious dish in Lahore, Pakistan. Let's start cooking;
Ingredients:
- 3 cup dried chickpeas (chole)
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 6 - 7 green chilies (don't cut)
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon of coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
1. Wash and soak the dried chickpeas in water overnight. Drain the water the next day.
2. In a pressure cooker, add the soaked chickpeas, salt, and enough water to cover them. Pressure cook for about 3-4 whistles or until the chickpeas are soft and cooked through. Drain and set aside. Save it's water in which we boiled chickpeas
3. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, kalwanji, cloves, black pepper , dalchini and let them splutter.
4. Add the finely chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
5. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a couple of minutes until the raw aroma disappears.
6. Add coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few more minutes.
7. Take 1/2 cup of boiled chickpeas & make it paste.
8. Add the cooked chickpeas (chole) to the masala mixture. Stir to coat the chickpeas with the spices.
9. Add chickpeas paste and mix well
10. Add water (adjust to your preferred consistency), put green chillies, cover the pan, and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
11. Serve hot with rice, naan, or roti.
