The human gender distinct from men is referred to as woman. The term "woman" is derived from the Sanskrit words "per + empu + an." Per is the word for creature, and empu is the word for noble, expert, or skilled. Women can therefore be seen as beings of nobility or talent. Women are capable of producing gamete cells called eggs thanks to their reproductive organs, which include the ovaries, uterus, and vagina. Additionally, women are able to menstruate, conceive, give birth, and breastfeed.
