Is it worthwhile to live? - Alfred Austin, author of powerful life poetry
Alfred Austin was a prolific political writer and poet who succeeded Alfred, Lord Tennyson as poet laureate of England.
Full poem:
IS life worth living?
Yes, so long as there is wrong to right,
Wail of the weak against the strong,
Or tyranny to fight;
Long as there lingers gloom to chase,
Or streaming tear to dry,
One kindred woe, one sorrowing face
That smiles as we draw nigh;
Long as a tale of anguish swells
the heart, and lids grow wet,
And at the sound of Christmas bells
We pardon and forget;
So long as Faith with Freedom reigns,
And loyal Hope survives,
And gracious Charity remains
To leaven lowly lives;
While there is one untrodden tract
For Intellect or Will,
And men are free to think and act
Life is worth living still.

O Life! O Me! Wal Whitman! (Best Quotes)
The world poet of America, Walt Whitman is the modern-day equivalent of Homer, Virgil, Dante, and Shakespeare. His independently released poetry collection, "Leaves of Grass," is a significant moment in American literature.
-
Whitman ponders his own existence and the pointlessness of life in "Oh Me! Oh Life!" He laments the "endless trains of the faithless," speaks of towns populated by the ignorant, and berates himself for not being any better. He bemoans the fact that life never goes exactly as he plans it to and takes note of the "sordid hordes" around him who are also struggling to get by. He feels connected to them and has spent just as many "useless years" looking for a far-off concept.
He responds at the conclusion of the poem.

VIKING CODE OF CONDUCT -15 RULES FOR LIFE
These guidelines for living have been created by us and were taken from the Viking-era Icelandic poem Hávamál (Words of the High One). This ancient book is claimed to contain wisdom from Odin himself, imparting to the people of the time both useful life lessons and magical spells.
Using stock footage from Nordic nations, music with a Viking theme, and excellent voice acting, we set out to make a film that captures the spirit of the ancient Norsemen and returns us to more fundamental values that are so easily forgotten in today's world.

Quotations that Encourage Courage (Powerful Narration)
I decided that the current state of world upheaval made it the ideal moment to put together a video about courage. I searched for quotations from those who have faced extraordinary difficulty. Those who have maintained their composure despite the mayhem around them.
Joan of Arc, a 17-year-old French peasant girl who came to lead the French army against an English invasion and won, is one example that comes to mind. Even though she didn't participate in the fighting, she was present to address the troops and gave them the courage they needed to win. Sadly, she was later executed at the stake in 1431 for being a heretic, but this was later overturned, and today she is revered.
