📍 Għaxaq, Malta | It is probably Malta's most unique facades you'll ever see... its the House of Snails (Dar tal-Bebbux) sea-shells decorated house. Indri Dimech's creation started back in 1898 as he envisioned this unique way to decorate the façade of his property in Għaxaq with hundreds of snails and seashells which he collected from local and foreign beaches. Take a look at the situation of this unique façade nowadays. So passing through the beautiful outskirts of the pristine countryside, encountering the old town houses, following the narrow streets and talking with the locals, I could feel that Għaxaq is that community centered southern village that oozes character. ✅ Red Tower (St. Agatha's Tower) - Mellieha, Malta | It could be seen from kilometeres away up in the hills of Mellieha countryside, this Red Tower was built by the Knights of St.John and was used also in WW2. Sadly, we couldn't get inside (or as I've seen also going on top of the tower) ...pretty much we were locked outside of this Red Tower in Malta which was recently given a face lift especially a lick of that world famous red paint that is in evidence as you can see in the video. P.S - As this place is open thanks to volunteers who help out, in these pandemic situations, I understand why sometimes it is closed. He has been harvesting salt since 1969 but for generations Xwejni Salt Pans has been producing salt and has been featured in many TV stations worldwide. Most recently they were featured in Restaurants on the Edge on Netflix. They have been harvesting genuine sea salt by hand since 1860 in Gozo, Malta! 🇲🇹 I found this place as one of the most unreal places I've ever been. Visiting these Ancient Salt Pans in Gozo, Malta. They are a new addition to this garden in my village and I spotted them as they were sunbathing as a group, while some took a dip in the pond to freshen up. :) These turtles are called terrapin turtles, which is one of several small species of turtle living in fresh or brackish water. ✅ Paola - Malta | I went to chase the sunset in the fields of Paola and I almost got attacked by a dog that I didn't see coming.
