3D Printing Soft Plastic Lures The Ultimate Beginners Guide: Part 2 The Computer Side
This is part 2 of a multi part series on resin 3d printing your own soft plastic lure molds. In this part of the series we go over where to get 3d printable molds from and how to get the files ready to resin 3d print. In part one we went over the basics of resin 3d printing and why it is such a good tool for making soft plastic fishing lures. I make many different soft plastic lures for my YouTube channel that are all available for FREE for all to make. I want to give the knowledge on how to make these lures available to everyone! Even though my molds are free to download they are useless if you don't know how to make them. That is why my goal for the series is to take someone who has no knowledge of 3D printing and make them able to 3d print their own molds.

3D Printing Soft Plastic Lures The Ultimate Beginners Guide: Part 1 The Basics
This is my first of many guides on how to 3d print fishing lures. It is the beginning of a multi part series on resin 3d printing your own soft plastic lure molds. In this video we go over the basics of resin 3d printing, how it works, what kind of molds you can make, why you would want to 3d print molds in the first place, what printer to get, the resin I use, and how to set up that printer to make your own lure molds. Making The 3D Printed ARROW TAIL DROPSHOT WORM
Here I showcase my own custom dropshot lure I made. This is the 4.25" arrow tail drop shot worm. This is a finesse bait that can be fished on either a drop shot or a ned rig. In the video I go over how I made it and we see the mold in action. This is a 3d printed lure mold I made on my ender 6. It can be printed on an fdm or resin printer.

3D Printed Fishing Lure: The Trout Trifecta
This Is the Trout Trifecta. A soft plastic lure I made for trout fishing. There are three different lures all in one mold. A salmon egg, a hellgrammite, and a micro paddle tail swimbait. I made these primarily for fishing the local trout stocked rivers by me. They should also work for a variety of panfish and other small fish. This is a soft plastic lure injection mold. I injected this with dead on plastics soft plastic worm blend in order to make the lures in the video. The mold halves are held together with 1/4" bolts. These lures take me quite a bit of effort to make and it would help me greatly if you could subscribe to my channel.

Making a 3D Printed Squid Lure
I came up with an idea for a squid lure. I wanted something around 3 inches long to throw on a jig and use for inshore saltwater. Flounder, stripers, redfish, Bonita, basically everything eats squid. So I hoped onto fusion 360 and made it myself. This is a mold I made and printed out on my any cubic photon mono x using syriatech sculpt resin. This can also be printed out on an fdm printer too. Oh and did I Mention its FREE! If you have any questions or suggestions on what I should make next leave a comment down below.

3D Printing a Squarebill Crankbait
I wanted to make another hard bait on my 3D printer. Since squarebills are probably one of the most common bass baits I figured it would be a great addition to my arsenal of 3d printed fishing lures.
This lure is of my own design is slow floating and dives to a depth of around 5 ft. Perfect for cruising down low and bouncing off of rock piles. I designed this in fusion 360 and printed it out on my ender 3 pro out of petg. Of course like all of my other lures it can be downloaded for free. This video is broken into two segments. The first part is a design overview and background of the lure. The second part is an assembly guide so you can make this yourself.

Making a 3D Printed Rain Bait Lure
This is a 3d Printed fishing lure I designed my self in fusion 360. To the best of my knowledge this is the first of its kind. For this bait I wanted a rain bait imitation. Rain bait for those of you who don't know, rain bait is a general term used for small baitfish that splash around on the top of the water making it look like it is raining. On the north east coast this Is usually the bay anchovy. I molded this directly after an artist rendition of one. rather than utilize a normal tail design, I used a fork tail. This is so the lure can be worked very quickly and have a nice action while doing so. For me this lure is primarily made for fluke (summer flounder), bonita and false albacore. However it should work for a variety of inshore saltwater species around the world. The files here are soft plastic injection molds. They can be printed on either and fdm or a resin 3D printer. For fdm I found that PETG works best for me (I haven't tried nylon or pc yet). The resin I printed this mold with in the video is syriatech sculpt. You can inject this mold in any color you want, I would love to see what colors you come up with! Feel free to check out my other lures as well.
These lures take quite a bit of effort to make so if you want to help me out I would greatly appreciate if you could subscribe to my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgNxM4lhZu1yVbONskpcwZw?sub_confirmation=1

Making a 3D Printed Saltwater Grub
In this video I made a 3d printable mold for a saltwater grub. I made this for inshore saltwater. Specifically fluke (summer flounder). However I see no reason why this wouldn't work for other saltwater fish or even freshwater. This mold can be made on either a resin printer or and fdm printer. Please suggest what I should make next down in the comments below. Feel free to check out my other lures. If you enjoyed this video or this lure I made please consider subscribing. Making a 3d Printed Hogchocker Lure
In this video I make a hogchoker lure. A hogchoker is a small brackish water flounder found up and down the north east coast of the United States. I figured this may be a good presentation for striped bass that no one has tried yet. They inhabit the same areas and there is no way they aren't table fare for stripers. It should also double as a baby fluke imitation. Will it work I have no idea. That's for us to find out ;) This is an open pour mold I made meant to be 3d printed out of petg. All you have to do is print this out and pour your choice of plastisol in. The files can be downloaded for free if your are interested in trying it out. I also have other lure designs if your looking for something a bit more practical. Feel free to comment down below what you want me to make next!
