Who...why am I in stasis?! *REDACTED*?! Shit! What the fuck is that?! Run! He's locked down Medical but Daniel's thinks the lockdown can be lifted from *REDACTED*. Found a Line Gun but...no. No. NO! RUN! Managed to shut off the lockdown. Have to get to Cryogenics...

Hammond wasn't lying about something big on the bridge. Damn thing was trapped in the security station. Elevators are working again. Need to reroute power to the Auto Defense System and bring the cannons back online. *REDACTED* was crawling with monsters but picked up the contact beam. Ambushed by another one of Hammond's big somethings in the *REDACTED* control room. Stumbled across a rig upgrade in *REDACTED*. Power rerouted...fuck! Cannons need recalibrated. Manually. Where's the operator's manual?! Daniels thinks the weird shit on the walls is *REDACTED* and not some kind of habitat changer...

The centrifuge is a mess and infested with these monsters. Almost died trying to get out once it was repaired and restarted. Oh my g..oh fuck! no, no, NO, NO! What was that *REDACTED*?! I don't want to know what else is on board with us. Was once again swarmed while reigniting the engines. The *REDACTED* are offline? Perfect. No rest for the wicked, eh? Hammond & Daniels are fighting again. Something about *REDACTED* having prior knowledge of *REDACTED*. Bunch of corpo bullshit to me. Heading to the bridge to meet with Hammond. The ship is moving into the debris field. We need *REDACTED* or, believe it or not, this nightmare will get worse. Hammond says something "big" is moving around near by. Should have asked him if he is hearing the whispers too...

Arrived at the Morgue. Capt. Mathius is...dead? Just need his R.I.G. Dear god...they fly?! *REDACTED* then was almost swarmed. Hammond reports the engines are offline. Guess I'm heading to engineering. There's a *REDACTED* somewhere on the *REDACTED*. These...things are everywhere. Engineering is just as fucked as the rest of this ship. Centrifuge = offline. Engines = offline. Fueling pumps = offline. Came across a Ripper on my way to the refueling station. Unconventional but deadly. Had to cut the lights to restore power to the fuel pump. Engines refueled. On to the centrifuge. The decontamination process was *REDACTED*. I swear I heard someone whisper my name...

Have to make it to medical. Hammond seems to think *REDACTED* is in the morgue. Vendor still operational. Not sure what's happening here but an upgrade to my rig can't hurt. Found a kinesis module. Arrived at medical but what the fuck happened here? Why is half of this place barricaded? Picked up a Pulse Rifle amongst the carnage. What are these...things? Hammond says it was *REDACTED* that attacked him but that's impossible. Hydrazine tank + shock pad = boom! Found a security recording of *REDACTED* and Dr. Kyne. Are they both *REDACTED*? Are those...infants?! Looks like Nicole was trying to figure out what happened. Almost to the morgue. Something's wrong with comms...or with me. Static is starting to sound like whispers...

Nothing to defend myself wi...a plasma cutter. *REDACTED* Shit! The tram system is down. Broken car and a fried board. Poor Chen. No one deserves...thought I saw *REDACTED* This statis module will come in handy! Finally removed the broken car from the track. I've been *REDACTED* We need to get out of here. Found the spare board but, my god, it's *REDACTED* Maybe the Kellion, the ship we almost *REDACTED* Fuck! Now what?! Daniels and *REDACTED* seem to think *REDACTED* is in medical for some reason. We need to find our way there and retrieve...

Eye of the Beholder (1991) : 12 - Listen Linda: The Finale
We rejoin our heroes in front of the Stone Orb portal. Traversing the magical gateway brings us to Xanathar's Lair! We are attacked by Stone Golems almost immediately. The beholder's hideout is laced with trapped rooms and roaming golems; forcing our weary adventurer's to explore with care. We find several potions of varying effect, a few wands and other magical items. We also learned that Waterdeep's Build-a-Golem is conveniently located within Xanathar's fortress. Finally, we manage to track down the dastardly villain and confront Xanathar! Will we triumph over evil or will our ragtag party become another victim to the beholder's evil schemes?

Eye of the Beholder (1991) : 11 - The King's Men
We rejoin our adventurers on their search for the potion to save the Dwarven King. We make our way back to the room with the compass puzzle and take on a few Mind Flayers and Zorn. Along the way we find a few magical items and the Stone Orb. We finally locate the life saving potion at the end of a hallway lined with switches. Our party is unable to best the puzzle and begins their trek back to the Dwarven Halls. Having saved their king, the Dwarves present us with their most prized artifact, the Wand of Slivias! Surely, this will come in handy once we track down Xanathar. Before heading back down into the labyrinth beneath Waterdeep, we visit the Dwarven Cleric and resurrect the mage we found, Kirath. Kiergar leaves the party and we make our way back to the room with the compass puzzle. After a brief search, we find a portal that is activated with the Stone Orb. Will it lead us deeper into this seemingly endless maze? Or will it take us to the lair of Xanathar?

We return to our adventure in the room with the compass puzzle. With Mind Flayers roaming the halls, paralysis is still a problem for our party. After battling a few Zorn, we find a new stone object, the third named dagger ("Flicka") and the remains of what appears to be a mage. We endure some portal shenanigans and encounter Shindia, the leader of the Drow raiding party. After dealing with her, we finally manage to rescue Prince Keirgar. Our party then sets out to find a way to save the dwarven king!

Eye of the Beholder (1991) : 09 - Unnecessary Fireballs
We resume our excursion outside of the Hall of Thieves. Our party manages to foil the devious trap, retrieve their stolen possessions and continue the search. After fighting a few Displacer Beasts, we find another Oracle. This one is the Oracle of Devouring. The stairs down are just beyond a quick battle with a Rust Monster. This new level is full of Mantis Warriors! These quick and lethal foes are capable of inflicting paralysis; which can be a serious hinderance to our party! After battling our way though the Hive, we find our way down to yet another level in this labyrinth beneath Waterdeep. The area seems to be a giant puzzle focused on the cardinal directions. We spot a Mind Flayer in the distance before finding a safe place to rest. We still haven't found the dwarves' missing prince nor found a way to wake their king. Are we getting any closer to discovering the evil entity Xanathar or stopping their schemes against Waterdeep?

Our party is still exploring Drider-ville. Very early on, we run afoul of a pit trap and are forced to find our way back up to the previous level. Hellhounds roam these corridors but are unable to prevent us from stumbling across a scroll containing the Ice Storm spell; a level four offensive spell for Thadeus. The brave adventurers fight their way through the Kennel to a hallway that requires item donations to open the door. We battle more Displacer Beasts and a few Rust Monsters before coming across the devious Hall of Thieves! Will we solve the diabolical trap or be forever lost in the maze beneath Waterdeep?

Eye of the Beholder (1991) : 07 - Rock + 1
We last left our party in the Drow levels. The Skeletal Lords in this area have it in for Taghor and we have to employ the "Dance of Death" technique in order to survive the encounters. After gathering all the keys and finding a new spell (lightning bolt!) for Thadeus, we proceed though several locked doors into a room full of portals. We take one and end up back by the Oracle of Knowledge. Using an Orb of Power, we activate the Oracle and gain insight into our equipment and loot. Returning to the portal room, we continue on and manage to solve this level's Special Quest! We stumble across some sort of armory and walk away with a new sword, "Slicer", for Gideon. After revisiting the Dwarves and replacing Dohrum with Ileria, another Cleric, we head down to the next level. Driders and Hellhounds greet us with spears and fire. We find another portal and have the correct stone item to activate it! Should we see where the portal takes us? Will we forego the mystery portal and continue to search this Drider infested level?

Eye of the Beholder (1991) : 06 - Skeletal Lords & Spicy Kitties
Our party resumes their search and almost immediately run afoul of a fireball trap. We find another stone item for the portal system, this time it's the stone ring. Melf's Acid Arrow does the impossible and comes in clutch during a skirmish with a Drow patrol. While pilfering the Drow's storage area, we come across our first Displacer Beast! Thankfully, the spicy kitty is no match for our band of brave adventurers. The party accidentally solves this level's special quest and find a few Orbs of Power; which will allow us to use the Oracle of Knowledge in the Dwarven Halls. A leap of faith is required to advance our excursion and pays off after we find a set of banded armor.

Our party starts out in the Kenku's nest. We gain an adamantine dart but just as quickly lose it while exploring the Kenku's silverware rack. After witnessing the awe inspiring power of Tawny's cure light wounds spell, our band of intrepid adventurers manage to solve a tricky pit puzzle and solve level six's special quest, the nest! We are awarded the chieftain's halberd for our efforts. Immediately after descending to level 6, we are ambushed by a Drow patrol! Will they drag us off to be unwilling guests of one of the great Houses? Will we be able to escape their clutches and continue on our quest?

Having agreed to help the Dwarves save their king and find their prince, we resume our journey. A corridor full of pit traps gets the better of us and, after surviving a fall to the fifth level, we encounter our first Kenku. We make our way back up to level four and stumble upon a unique portal puzzle which leads us back down to level five. We begin this level's special quest but not before running into a dark-robed figure; who seems to know a little too much about who we are and why we are down there.

Our heroes have solved the devious gem puzzle and are ready to explore the next level. As we venture deeper into this labyrinth, we are joined by Taghor, a Dwarf Fighter who was separated from his clan. We fight off giant spiders and find a few helpful items as we seek the staircase down to the next level. Several of our group are poisoned along the way. We finally make our way down to level four and find a clan of Dwarves residing there. After agreeing to help them in their hour of need, Dohrum, one of their warriors, joins our party.

Our journey continues into the second level of the Waterdeep sewers! We fight our way through more skeletons and zombies as we track down the evil beneath the city! Our thief, Linda, finds a bow and Thadeus, the party's mage, gains another enchanted dagger on our way to level three. How deep do these sewers run? Why are there Flinds and Kuo-Toa this far beneath the surface? Is that room really labeled "Museum"? Let's hope we can find our way down to level 4!
