Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Exodus 20:3
The phrase "Thou shalt have no other gods before me" is part of the Ten Commandments found in the Hebrew Bible, specifically in Exodus 20 verse 3. This commandment is central to the monotheistic beliefs (only one God) of the Christian (mennonite)religions, emphasizing the exclusive worship of the one true God, Yahweh, and the prohibition (forbidding)of idolatry, which is the worship of false gods or idols.
The commandment is understood to mean that God wants His people's thoughts, desires, and actions to be guided solely by Him, without any distractions or competing priorities. This includes not giving one's heart, soul, and mind to anything or anyone else before God. The Lord warned His people against the dangers of being distracted by wealth, friends, marriages, and other things that could lead them away from focusing on Him. The concept of "false gods" mentioned in the sources refers to anything or anyone that one might place above God in their life, such as cultural traditions, career aspirations, material possessions, power, prominence, and prestige. These "false gods" can lead individuals away from the true path of worshiping the one true God and living according to His ways.
In the context of the New Testament, Jesus Christ emphasized the importance of loving God with all one's heart, soul, and mind, which is interpreted as the first and greatest commandment. This love for God is to be the foundation of one's life, with all other actions and priorities being guided by this love. The commandment serves as a guardrail for living a life that is fully aligned with God's will and values, avoiding the pitfalls of idolatry and the pursuit of false gods.
Despite being warned against idolatry, many believers (mennonites)fell into the temptation of worshipping these false gods, leading to their abandonment of God. The commandment, therefore, serves as a reminder of the importance of remaining faithful to the one true God and avoiding the allure of false gods.
In summary, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me" is a foundational principle in the Bible, emphasizing the exclusive worship of the one true God and the avoidance of idolatry. It serves as a guide for living a life that is fully aligned with God's will and values, with all actions and priorities guided by a love for God.

Menno Simons (1496–1561)
Menno Simons was a Dutch priest and an early leader of the peaceful wing of Dutch Anabaptism, whose followers formed the Mennonite church.
He was born in Witmarsum, Friesland, Netherlands in 1496.
Little is known about Menno’s early life. However, we do know that He was married to a woman named Gertrude, they had at least three children, two daughters and a son. Menno was enrolled in a monastic school at an early age. In March 1524, at the age of 28, he was ordained at Utrecht and assigned to the parish at Pingjum, near the place of his birth.Seven years later, he became the village priest in his home parish at Witmarsum.
Menno Simons was an influential Anabaptist religious leader. Some times later He was excommunicated from the Catholic Church.
He was a contemporary of the Protestant Reformers and it is from his name that his followers became known as Mennonites.
Menno Simons was a converted priest.
He defended the Anabaptist movement against all detractors.
He wrote and printed many theological works.,
Menno’s main theological concerns lay in infant baptism, peace, and simple living under the law of Christ.
He believed in separation from this world. His writings about Reformed Christianity formalized the teachings of earlier Swiss Anabaptist founders as well as early teachings of the Mennonites founded on the belief in both the mission and ministry of Jesus.

Feet Washing. - Is it Biblical?
Jesus washed the feet of his disciples.
Jesus said to his disciples, I washed your feet.
You also, ought to wash other saint's feet.
Should we interpret Jesus's command literally?
Or did Jesus mean that we should look for ways to serve one another?
It seems obvious that it's designed to teach humility.
Jesus said I'm Your Leader, yet I humble myself to wash your feet.
So how much more should you be humbled
towards one another?
John Chapter 13 verses 12-15.
My take on this topic is this: Since Jesus commanded the washing of the saint's feet that every saint should practice this command. However, more than that, every saint should practice humility.
Proverbs 29:23-A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.

JESUS SACRIFICES.
For Christians, the suffering of Jesus Christ is an important subject because they hold that it was through his suffering and sacrifice on the cross that humanity's need for redemption was made possible. One of the most well-known historical occurrences in Christianity is the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, which is recorded in the Bible. God, who was willing to suffer alongside humanity in order to deliver them from sin and a life of eternal torment, viewed His suffering and death as an act of love.
It has also been proposed that through Jesus Christ's suffering, death can be changed from an end to a beginning. His death and resurrection are thought to have transformed birth pains into birth pangs, opening the doors to eternal life for humanity. This conviction gives Christians hope that there is a promise of eternal life and a new nature even in the midst of suffering and death.
The Christian response to the issue of suffering and evil is to put our faith in God and entrust all of our worries to Him. The Bible claims that everything in our lives, including the difficulties and suffering we experience, can be used by God for good. This viewpoint offers Christians a helpful perspective on who they are and how they relate to those around them. These brief, minor afflictions are thought to be producing for us the eternal weight of glory.
In conclusion, the cross of Jesus Christ is a significant subject in Christianity, and theologians and academics have interpreted it in various ways over time. Whatever the interpretation, it is held that his agony and sacrifice on the cross prepared the way for humanity's redemption and gave suffering a purpose. Christians are urged to put their faith in God and lay all their worries at His feet because they know that He will make everything work out for their best.

Sabbath. Christian vs Jews
Exodus 31:16
The children of Israel ( Jews ) shall keep the sabbath.
Gentiles ( other than Jews ) are not included in the law of Moses. The Patriarchs ( People before Abraham ), Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, were not commanded to keep the sabbath day.. These Patriarchs lived long before Moses gave the LAW to the Jews. The law was given to the children of Israel ( the Jews ), after God had brought them out of Egypt. The Sabbath law was given to the Jews not to the Gentiles. Deuteronomy 5:1-15.
Christ is the end of the law. Romans 10:4,
The law and the prophets were until John. (John the baptist) Luke 16:16.
John 19:30. Jesus said, “It is finished!” In Jesus we have redemption through his blood. No-one can be redeemed in the LAW of Moses. Colossians 2:14 Says that the law is nailed to the cross.
Any christian who follows the jewish laws is cursed. However, anyone who follows Jesus instead of the jewish law is free of that curse. Galatians 3:10,13.
Christians are permitted to have a special day for the Lord. However, not because of the sabbath law.
One man considers one day above another: another considers every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. Romans 14:5

Calm In Epidemic Storm. "Leaning On The Everlasting Arms"
Storm. The whole world has been in a storm for the last few years. Jesus too was in the storm. Some folks head peace in that storm because they trusted Jesus. Some folks wear anxious because they didn’t trust Jesus.
This acapella hymn, "Leaning On The Everlasting Arms", is sung by Acapeldridge, and we created a video with lyrics for the song.
Acapella hymns with lyrics like "Leaning On The Everlasting Arms" (sung by an acapella quartet) will bless you mightily throughout your day, because they are old fashioned, and bible based. Without any instruments, you can simply enjoy (and watch) the lyrics, and receive that spiritual comfort God wants you to feel.

End Times Bible Verses About The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ.
Second Coming of Jesus Christ, also called Second Advent, is the future return of Jesus Christ in glory.
Christians believe the Advent to be imminent and most Christian theologians since then, have believed that the visible appearance of Jesus may occur at any moment and that Christians should be ever ready for it.
We believers, find evidence for the Second Coming in the Gospels (Matthew 24–25; Mark 13; Luke 21:5–26; John 14:25–29), in the Book of Revelation, and in other biblical and traditional sources.

1 John 5:7. Trinity - Three in one.
https://biblethebible.com/education
" The Father and the Son and Holy Spirit" are not names for different parts of God, but one name for God because three persons exist in God as one entity.
They cannot be separate from one another. Each person is understood as having the identical essence or nature, not merely similar natures.
Christian doctrine. The unity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three persons in one Godhead.
The doctrine of the Trinity is considered to be one of the central Christian affirmations about God.
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father ( GOD ), the Word ( Jesus ), and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
