Ebike Hall Sensor Replacement - 48v 500w Motor (SS41F/41F/S41)
*Ignore the message at 2:18, Not sure how that got there but it was supposed to say "Note where the phase colored signal wires go as to not mix them up, It can become out of phase but typically will just operate in reverse operation."
Hello folks, 🔋BattTube here. Today we will be replacing the Hall Effect Sensors in a 48v 500w E-Bike Motor. The hall effect sensors in this motor are 41F's but go by several identities "41F/SS41F/S41/SH41/0H41". Only one was bad but it only made sense to replace all 3 seeing how cheap these are, Even paying $15 for 10 which are worth pennies in bulk. The Hall Sensors make use of the magnetic fields of the changing phases to determine RPM which can then be derived into speed.

Samsung Camera Teardown - WB250F WiFi USB Power Modification
Hello folks, BattTube here. Today we will be making a Modification to a Samsung WB250F Full HD 1080p Digital Camera I found in a bin. This Samsung camera model typically operates with a battery but can be "powered" by USB only if a battery is present. I only plan to use this camera as a 'B' shot camera for recording an Oscilloscope screen to be overlayed in the corner of the main video for example. Because of this, I have no desire to purchase a battery just for that purpose knowing it will never be a meter away from a USB port, It's a waste of a battery that could otherwise end up in the hands of someone who can really make use of it. Due to the odd quirk that only allows USB power with the battery installed, I have opted to install a USB cable in the camera with a direct connection to the battery connection terminals inside the camera. In the future, I may correct it with a surface-mounted or isolated Micro-USB port to avoid the cable dangling.

Oscilloscope Quick View & Tilting Bail Removal - SKMI SK0300
Hello Folks, BattTube here! Today we are looking at an SMKI 0300 Oscilloscope. I managed to pick this up on eBay for less than $50CAD. One of my goals with this channel is to further my knowledge and experience with Electronics and Electrical Engineering, With an oscilloscope, this is going to make the journey much more enjoyable. I'm removing the tilting bail for better use of my desk space and figured I would make a video of it to show the innards of this mystery scope that I couldn't find anywhere, Hopefully, it can help others with a similar or identical model. It's not a Tektronix but it's a scope! For any Oscilloscope related content, I would recommend Dave Jones from EEVBlog, Go check out his channel @ https://www.youtube.com/c/EevblogDave

AIMTOM Portable Solar Generator - Teardown & Repair Pt. 1
Hello folks, 🔋BattTube here. Today we will be doing a teardown on an Amazon AimTom "42000"mah Portable Solar Generator. We will be going through the current issues with the power bank and taking it apart to look over the components to see if we can find the bad PCB component. Having a look at the MPPT chip region and the BMS region but they looked fine. I believe the issue has to do with the controller on the PCB they use as a "manager" for the whole power station, Making sure the inverter is fine as well as the other components like the battery and bms as well as the MPPT solar-related stuff.

Ridgid 18V Battery Repair - Cell Replacement!
Hello folks, 🔋BattTube here. Today we will be replacing the 18650 battery cells in this Ridgid 18v Lithium-Ion Tool Battery. I decided to use some old "vape" type cells by EFest which i had around but it turned out to be a bad idea as the 18650 cells were more like 18.33650s and were to thicc to fit in the pack, With some external insulation, i left the cells unwrapped but still better protected then a normal 18650 wrapper. Spot Welded using the PCB spot welder i featured in the last video! Check both of those out below.

The Best Spot Welders Are Only $20!
Hello folks, 🔋BattTube here. Today we will be looking at one of these cheap PCB Spot welders, There are several flavors of these PCB-interfaced battery spot welders but most of them are basically identical in how they operate, Some just have more MOSFETs than others (More = More Current = Better). These spot welders beat any Sunkko spot welder there is! I will be showing you how to set them up, How to choose the correct battery, How to spot weld 18650 cells, And some tips and tricks to get the most out of these spot welders. If you're in a rush you can find these on Amazon with a bit of markup from a local distributor. If you can wait then i would suggest getting the best looking one of aliexpress (More MOSFETS = BETTER). BIFRC makes the best PCB spot welder (in my opinion), with almost TWICE the MOSFETs as the one shown here, It's a budget K-WELD.

Sunkko spot welder FIX/UPGRADE
Today we go over a Battery spot welder; Sunkko 788H to do some 'upgrading' to get the machine to actually spot weld 18650 s. After some resistance elimination, i came to a result that welded nicely and solidly leaving nothing superficial. This Amazon welder works much better now. This DIY repair/upgrade should work on most of the Sunkko spot welders, Although there may be some differences internally but they should all contain everything needed to commit this fix.
I am still very new at recording and editing, If you have any tips feel free to comment below. Enjoy this content? Consider liking and subscribing and stay tuned for future releases. Any content suggestions are greatly appreciated!

PowerSonic Bluetooth Lithium Battery - DIY low voltage recovery | PSL Smart Battery app overview
Hello folks, I got this PowerSonic PSL-BTC-1290 Bluetooth enabled battery for super cheap, as it was dead and they were unable to revive it. With some brute force, i broke into the casement to put the charger bypassed the BMS to wake the BMS, After the BMS was woken i could then put everything back in its shell and seal it up. Charging would now work normally and i can use the "PSL Smart Battery" app to look at some information about the battery.
PowerSonic makes some great lithium batteries. These Bluetooth enabled batteries are mediocre at best but are great SLA drop-in replacements with a very easy method to communicate with the BMS, I guess i prefer a CANBUS or RS-485 connection with much better software...
Stay tuned for more fun with these great batteries and more!

Valence Battery Project - Battery Communication & Valence Diagnostic Software Overview!
Hello folks, In my second video we are going to be talking about how to communicate with your valence battery, Going over valence battery communications and the Valence Diagnostic Software. I show you all i have learned about this software during my experience with these LiFePO4 Batteries. I found a little unlock in the software config that allows us to see some more data, and even allows us to perform temperature calibration on a single module or your whole battery bank.
Valence AKA "Lithium Werks" AKA "Lithion Battery". So they have gone through several rebrands/staff changes lately and as of recently, they are now known as "Lithion Battery" company. They make some industry-leading LiFeMgPo 4 batteries "Lithium Iron Magnesium Phosphate". The magnesium is their little 'touch'. Supposedly having benefits, And considering its a material that costs money, Why would they add it if it didn't actually work? Visit their channel "Valence Technology" for some more clean-cut information about their modules.
Stay tuned for more fun with these great batteries!
Below i have attached a wiring diagram for the Valence Communications Cable to use in place of their "Valence diagnostics toolkit". i have shown the wiring for both generations, The first generation using the "M12" Connector and the second generation using the "Tyco AMP Superseal 5 Pin" Connectors.

Valence Battery Project - Looking at some Valence Batteries!, Battery Bank Build?, Solar Bank Build?
Hello folks, This is my first video on the channel and I wanted to go over some amazing LiFePo4 Batteries. I just love these valence batteries and I got a great deal! Not many videos showing their range of batteries. I would love to get my hands on the larger size standards but that's dreams...
Looking into possible LiFePo4 Battery Bank builds using some of our batteries, Making custom LiFePo4 battery packs using the cases and/or bms from some dead valence batteries. We will discuss LiFePo4 battery charging in a later video in the series. Possible Solar setup in the future? Look at AliExpress batteries? Soldering or Spot Weld? Use in EBikes? Comparisons to other popular LiFePo4 modules like the BattleBorn.
